Is that Switch mounted in a legal spot for competition?
This what I found so far from the 2023 NHRA rulebook.

8:4 MASTER CUTOFF
Mandatory when battery is relocated, or as outlined in Class
Requirements. An electrical power cutoff switch (one only) must
be installed on the rearmost part of each vehicle and be easily
accessible from outside the car body. This cutoff switch must be
connected to the positive side of the electrical system and must
stop all electrical functions including magneto ignition. The off
position must be clearly indicated with the word “OFF.” If switch
is “push/pull” type, “push” must be the action for shutting off
the electrical system, “pull” to turn it on. Any rods or cables
used to activate the switch must be minimum 1/8-inch diameter.
Plastic or keyed switches prohibited. Switches and/or controls
must be located behind rear wheels on rear-engine dragsters.

So looks like I will have to change it since my switch lever is plastic and doesn't specify on off on the switch itself. Easy fix

I'll get it squared away, don't worry.

I don't know what other sanctioning bodies say but I am pretty sure They would be similar to NHRA requirements.

Just didn't want to see you go through all this and get turned away at an even of some sort.

I’ve seen the switch rod be drilled in through a tail light - that might work well to hide the actual switch mechanism and wiring inside the fender.

That's typically done on dedicated track vehicle that only needs 1 light.

IMO, I would mount the switch on the frame and have the rod go through the roll pan.

I have seen People do it next to or through the license plate.

That's what I'm gonna do fellas. Through the roll pan with a push/ pull rod style switch.

A few better picks of the work I had done.
Firepunk makes the adjustable brackets for the derale trans coolers. Tim McAmis push/pull style power disconnect showed up last week, so that will be replacing the current one.

Decided what better time then now to pull the front axle out and fix the leaking axle seals and the case half. Once I got it torn down, I proceeded to clean all the mating surfaces real good, then the process of getting it all put back together. Wasn't that bad of a job, but could of been better if I had an impact gun and a nice bench to work on it, instead of the concentrate garage floor 🤣

Installed some interior pieces that @lutzjk91 sent me. Nothing special, but they were some of the items taken when the truck was stolen.

Still playing the waiting game with the motor from Socal Diesel.
