So I ended up getting some adjustable rear shock brackets made with a pair of viking dual adjustable shocks. A piece of tubing for a upper crossmember I had cut for the upper shock tabs to welded to.
Today after my son(9yrs old) won his flag football playoff championship game, I decided to started removing the shocks. I also cut/grinded the stock mounting locations.
Before I weld all the new brackets on what are some of the things I need to consider? The shocks should be as close to vertical as possible right? Should the lower shock brackets be mounted as wide as possible on the axle, or will where the rear shock locations were be wide enough?
Any tips from the more experienced in this area will be greatly appreciated!
Here are some pics from the work I did so far. Sorry for the cell pics. Lol
