Had some time Sunday to get down to a buddys shop and weld up my adjustable brackets for the dual adjustable viking shocks. Im sure our welds dont even come close to someone who is more experienced but they got the job done.
When we mocked everything up I made sure to get the brackets as far out on the axle as I could, and still have the body of the shock miss the inside of the frame. So that put the shock about a 1/2" from inside of frame rail to the body of the shock. We repeated that process in the opposite side.
Once all the welding was done and shocks were installed, they were damn near straight up and down. Overall I was happy how everything turned out for someone who has never tackled a job like this.
Have to reroute the rear hard brake lines along with a few odds and ends, then I will be able to put the bed back on and start figuring out these shock settings.
