Just now getting to where I can update. I get the truck running Saturday night bit spent most of the day chasing a code for the solenoid C. Found a broken wire at the plug so it will be Saturday before I can get her on the road. I will say this, it sounds awesome. I'll have some sound clips this weekend. I'm pleased so far.

Here's a clip my cousin took to show me the color of the smoke which I thought was white from where I sat. I told Russell I'd rather take another video to be a little more professional for the debut but hell with it. Excuse the language, my cousin has no "home learnin" lol. It sounds great! I dont think it sounds too much different at spool up or idle, but when it de-spools it sounds crazy loud :thumb: I dont own a vgt truck so you know better than I do but thats just what I thought... The best I can do for my lb7 is a cheetah 63 port and polished haha

I think it sounds better on the video you texted me but we used our bandwidth up for the month so Internet at the house is SSSSLLLLLOOOOWWWW!!

It's got a nice sound to it as well. Not super loud when sitting there idling but you know its there.

I can't wait to see how it does/performing driving!!:woott:

You are right. The YouTube sounds bad compared to playing it on my phone. I guess uploading it killed the quality. If anyone wants I can text the video.

Here are my plans. I'm going to drive it and break everything in and work all the bugs out. Then I'll do some data logging and shoot to my tuner. I may even swap tuners. Once I feel like it's running good I'll go to Tony rizzi's shop in Washington Ga or to a shop in Charleston SC and make a few dyno pulls. I'm very curious of what numbers it will put down.

I'd also want to say if anyone has this done I'd recommend going with 2" up pipes. The port job is huge and mates perfect with the larger up pipes. Russell can hook you up with some profab manifolds and up pipes at a great price. To me it just makes sense but isn't necessary.

That's the quality of the video killing the sound. It's big difference in sound when it spools. At idle it sounds like a big rig and you can definitely tell it's not an average diesel. Spooling up it sounds like a jet turbine and the spool down has 2 distinct sounds at once, it's like you hear the compressor under the hood and the turbine through the exhaust. It's not captured in the video but in person sounds sweet. So far I'm all smiles lol.
