It drives almost exactly like stock in flat part throttle but is somewhat doggy in part throttle hilly stop and go traffic. On the highway or where I can keep the rpm up more or flat where I don't lug it's alot better. My guy just sent me some revised tunes for the ecm and tcm. He tweeked the vanes pos and adjusted the shift points to hold gear longer. When we get it dialed in I'll get it dynoed.

Tuner sent me a new tcm tune with raised shift points and added 10% to the vanes tables. What a difference! It lights alot faster now and around town driving is very much improved. If it wasn't for the whistle you'd think it was a stock turbo now. Still pulls like a raped ape when it lights and cleans up ALOT quicker. It made so much a difference I thought he pulled fuel out of the tune. My wot on 5 EGTs raised some, they actually hit 17xx before I realized it and pulled out of it. Strange though my 4 tune lost about 50 egt at wot.

I feel there is more to be had so we are adding more to the vanes. One thing I am kind of disappointed at is the turbo is quiet at idle. I was wanting more of a whistle at idle like DP stg2r but that may be in the tuning. Vanes set at 98% at idle.

You've got some more miles on it with the updated tuning, are the driving characteristic's much better?
I've not messed with VGT tuning but possibly open up the vane position at idle?

He added 10% to the tables. I'm waiting on him to send one with another 10%. It was night and day difference in how it lit off idle or at low rpm. Before i had to stay on top of it more but it still wasn't that much worse than factory while driving and just mashing it.

As far as idle yeah it needs some work.for sound, I'm not so much worried about that as I am the drivability right now.

I knew you were more concerned about drivability, I was just thinking out load about the sound.

Tyler Radewald punisher performance. Thought he was somewhat decent before but seems he is lost with this one. Not bashing the guy, just not his Forte.

Not 100% sure at this time but I'm waiting on Tony Martino to get back with me before I make a decision. I have another forum member willing to help me out as well. I have talked to Mark B about it in the past and even thought about Kory Willis but for whatever reason I keep coming back to moonshine. Thoughts and opinions are appropriated.

I'd go with whoever knows more about VGT's and willing to work with you/make changes. Unfortunately, that seems to be harder these days. Myself and friends/people I've sold turbo's to have had issues with getting their tuners to make changes. It gets frustrating and makes want to tune my own stuff.

Got the new tunes and man all I can say is WOW! I'm all smiles! It's a HUGE difference. I'll get some vids up soon for your viewing pleasure and soon I'll make a trip to the dyno and see what this thing can really do!
