Your definition of poverty is owning only 2 fifty-thousand dollar pickup trucks?
As someone who grew up drinking USDA powered milk, eating USDA peanut butter, etc, as well as our family of five crammed into a 1963 VW beetle, I seem to have a much different idea of poverty.
By the way, exactly what grants you the right to call folk stupid?
Look at the year of the trucks- one was 35 grand, and the other was 37 grand. ones a reg cab work truck that pulls a trailer daily and plows snow the other is my family vehicle.. i have 4 trucks and 2 of them arnt worth mentioning old and beat; i have a landscaping buisiness. what gives me the right? america and freedom of speech, untill obama takes that away from me.. trent put me down and i retorted back. pat, it wasnt about poverty and the comment about more money than brains wasnt directed to you, but it seems like maybe your concious is botthering you..... anyways pat, its nice to see you get into diesel power. seems like you have the drive psi worked out on the new twin setup 1:1 very impressive 1000hp!
please show me were i personally put you down , other than questioning your knowledge and credintial's in drag racing your duramax / what i have with my own testing and experience.
great job guys im still blown away. this thread is about maxd outs truck right??
YOU ARE COMPARING APPLES TO GRAPEFRUITS ON THIS ONE! that truck has way more power than yours (no offense), and the twins he currently has on there are too small for the fueling they have and whats in plan for it. (a 3rd cp3)that truck should have damn close to 1000 rwhp, rippin the sticky nittos like that
You don't need 3 cp3's to go over 1000rwhp. The truck is pretty close to 900hp right now. Even if we add another cp3 it won't make more than what it makes now. It's out of air. I can get maybe another 50hp if I want to change some things but these turbo's were never intended for this truck.
We don't have rail pressure issues now. I don't expect to have rail pressure issues on 2 cp3's until well over 1000hp but we aren't stopping there so there is no reason to sit on our ass and let it become a problem. We will stop pouring fuel and air to it when we can no longer keep traction, we split blocks, break cranks, melt pistons, granade trannies every weekend, or in general can't make it somewhat reliable. The horsepower that is no one really knows but I guess we'll find out. Everyone seems to fall back on N20 to make power when it get's hard and we want to make as much as possible on straight out of the pump #2.
Ken has allowed Rob and myself to have basically free reigns with the design and parts on this truck because he believes we can make enough hp to cause the above potential problems. I know I am grateful for it even if
it comes with a ton of headaches.

Well the launch problem is fixed. Now comes the air!
