You certainly didn't offend me, hell I'm pretty proud I've made it this long the way I've abused my body. At this stage of the game there is still a lot of tuning and tweaking to do. When I drive and get back it's usually, "did you log it" no I forgot to hit the button. "What were the egt's and boost gauges reading when you were going through the traps?" What gauges, I had all I could do hanging on to the damn thing. Those are the usual questions and answers when I'm driving.

 i have been in those types of shoes

He is making a ton of hp to go that fast in a LB QC Cummins. The down side is the heavier the truck the more hp is needed to keep getting faster. The more hp the more broken parts. I'd love to be 1000lbs lighter and add the weight when we run Super Street. Not because it takes less hp to go fast that way but because it is easier on parts. Most of guys that heavy with that kind of hp eat input shafts like candy.

Since I don't have time to build the big twins right now I started on the set we will run for TS and our next few NHRDA races today. Hopefully it's enough to get us well in the 9's. I should have them done this week so Rob and I can do some licensing runs this coming weekend.

I was there when Drake ran the 10.39 it was crazy fast, he will be in the 9's very soon maybe even as soon as next Saturday. Whats sick is its a stock bottom end:eek:

So it's not the "big" setup and still shooting for 9's....

I like it :)

This is how the shop looked after one of Drake's dyno runs. Picture was taken about five minutes after the pull. Something happened to the truck and they shut down mid pull. He was around 89xhp when they killed it. Something to do with an injector, if I remember correctly. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=szFZ1qGl760

Ya it was a cracked injector IIRC, he pulled quite a bit of weight since that 10.3 pass so with a better 60' im sure he'll be flirting with 9's if not then nitrous is always still on the table.

One of my customers was making 1090hp on a stock bottom end with 2 stock cp3's. He now has a stage 3 cp3 and much bigger injectors but doesn't want to risk running it on the track until he get's his built motor in. I don't blame him either because anytime a stock Cummins is over 1000hp it can go boom. It's cheaper to put rods in it when the block is in one piece.

Talking to Drake hes ran LOTS of 1/4 mile passes and done lots of sled pulling using LOTS of nitrous it is a very impressive truck that is for sure.
