Cool video, Ken.

May I ask how you guys do your start? Sounded to me like the driver does a "two stage" leave....not quite full throttle until about 50ft out to keep traction.

Tom, I pulled a bunch of fuel back until about 40mph because of excessive wheel spin. Still adjusting things down low and it needs to 60' much better. .2 on the 60' will give us .3-.4 on ET without changing a thing(but we are changing things:D)

Now thats an idea! I take it you bring fuel down to a certain level, increase it til you just break traction, then back it down a hair?

I wish I understood EFI tables better. LOL

YOU ARE COMPARING APPLES TO GRAPEFRUITS ON THIS ONE! that truck has way more power than yours (no offense), and the twins he currently has on there are too small for the fueling they have and whats in plan for it. (a 3rd cp3)that truck should have damn close to 1000 rwhp, rippin the sticky nittos like that

what does that have to do with a particular tunning technique... that i have been testing for weeks prior to hearing they were using they same technique ? and have you seen the runs... it clear up alot of the smoke in the later gears , and they are only a temperary setup . and i stated for my power level i have only been limmiting till 10mph instaed of 40 pmh for there power level . you shure are a expert for never running your truckl at the strip

my sig says no track times with the twins, i have been to the track more than a few times with the truck. i would work on launching teqnique seup ect. ive run a 14.1 with 35s, 6 inch lift, a shitty 60ft (2.xxx) the truck would lift a front tire and get all squirelly:eek: and guess what a stock trans and a hot edge lifting off throttle into 5th to avoid limping the trans.

it seems to me like you have changed alot of parts lately and maybe you have to get used to them; and get it setup the way you like it. and then play with tunes to your hearts content. not being a dick, but sometimes you should listen and let others talk...... maybe you would learn something.

i am glad to listen to poeple who i feel have pertinate information... i have 12 1/4 mile runs on my new setup all within .1 on the 60 and last 4 were within .1 on the et . i feel i have a good idea of what needs to be changed on my truck , and 1.76 60 was best on shitty shocks and to find out later a open differintial . those are the only 2 things changed and will be at the strip next weekend . if you want to offer up real advice and not you should learn how to launch , when i have 50+ runs down the strip in the same truck , and you stated you have taken your ex lifted truck down the track with your stock tranny and edge chip and achieved a 2.** sixty ... have i missed something .

Your definition of poverty is owning only 2 fifty-thousand dollar pickup trucks?

As someone who grew up drinking USDA powered milk, eating USDA peanut butter, etc, as well as our family of five crammed into a 1963 VW beetle, I seem to have a much different idea of poverty. I wasn't poor. I had 3 meals a day and a roof over my head.

By the way, exactly what grants you the right to call folk stupid?
