Awesome show huh! I was the 1st puller there and almost last to leave. Left home at 2:30 PM got home at 2:30 AM.

The pop is just fuel burning in the maniflods. No biggy. But boy does the turbo light right up when it does it. I am working on tuning it out. It was way better then the 1st time it did it a Mecrer when I shot a flame out the stack in broad daylight.:happy2: I get alot of people ask me about it.

pulled tonight at the clarion county fair with FFP.. went 247.14' bennet won with 292.x would have placed me 10/11 of 18 if did the ordering right

i changed the rear tire pressire form 40-45 that i norm run down to 32-33psi mainly to help float in the musshy grounds... did good dindt need pulled through the pits

this allow the truck to wrinkle the sidewalls of the tires

the steering wheel got VERY loose equivlant to when on wheel is off the ground and you turn the tires. i know i turn the steering wheel almost full turn and no effect on the truck at all..........

so heres the video. front left was just skimming along

Adam u gotta get your weight more towards the back of your truck. I have watch all your vehicle pulls so far so good. But them front tires aint coming up like they should. Did u finally get your block?

Yea, weight all the way in the back and get some wider tires. Your sinking in too much.

said video was at butler in a sandy horse track. 3" of sand and no air bags in the back.

also FFP require 2" of travel in the rear.

out side of pulling seats out the only wieght i can move still is draining the fuel tank (60gl tank 7.3lb per gal) that will put ~300lb on the back... and kill rail pressure (no lift pump still)

i am putting 1000-1300lb of sand on the tail gate.

i do have the extend stocks
wider rims and smaller/shorter tires are ont he list for the truck.

tires in the back are 315s

I don't watch much sled pulling but you finished 23 out of 26 so that means you were better than three people right? 2wd may not be as bad as the guys that were giving you crap on DP were saying it was.

I am all for "if it aint broke yet, lets break it harder."

You can also extend your hitch further back. Yep, the opposite direction the 4x4 guys are trying to move theirs. IIRC there is no limit on how far away you can put the hitch.

Your on the right track. What i did was put 2 30 gallon drums right against my tail gate. Then put my 2 55 gallon drums right on my axle. 1 55 gallon drum was full the other was just over 3/4 full. Your set up looks good. It just dosent look like your weight is transferring as fast as mine was.

Keep in mind i aint trashing you. I wanna help you get it all work out. Im just pointing out something i see that will better you if fixed. Other then that your truck looks awesome and its gonna hall the mail when all the bugs are worked out

I read somewhere that u where going to try to borrow some mickey thompson mtz. You should try to. Them where the tires that i ran and they did very well for me. Dont run boggers stuff likes to break with boggers. And i aint really sure but it sounded like on some of them videos you where spooling before you take off. Mine didnt like that to much

yes
2wd may not be as bad as the guys that were giving you crap on DP were saying it was.

I am all for "if it aint broke yet, lets beat it harder."
fixed it for you ;)

bunker hill yeah there wasnt to many stock trubo trucks there... me beating a 1/2 ass setup 2.6 is going to be hard... forget a well setup 2.6 turck when im a stock trubo..

fingers:
those 375s 33" or 35"

Hitch... i have bent this one once already... not shure i want to do it again..... extending it out would def do it more easily

butler video( off throttle no spooling)
bunker hill i left at 2200-2300rpm ~10-12psi ( i spooled there)
clarion (no spooling completly off throttle) about 1900rpm is when the sled/tires started moving and ~4-5psi of boost... i didnt stand on the brake... thats when the sled started moving.

and kurts iirc your truck was shorter then mine as in wasnt a CCLB
