Adam have you regeared or still 3.73's? What gear do you pull in?

currently 3.73 with 315/75 out back and first gear. 2nd if 58% longer then 1st
1st is 3.1
2nd is 1.8

IMO i dont have the power to run 2nd right now especialy if the TCC locks as well

i dont have a transfer case so there is no 2.72:1 reduction that the 4wd beniefit from.

yeah, you have GOT to get that rear end up in the air higher so you aren't putting so much leverage on your hitches. It'd take something stupid strong to not bend with as high up the "L" as you are having to run it.

bend it straight double up with another 2" makeing a welded 2x4" piece.. and wear face the front side with and stick weld.

getting some 2" blocks for the rear.

might get some 26" tires for the front drop it another 2" form the 30"

and blocks

never mine the rear bumper... damn jumping telephones poles i tell you what

mitch.. i have been thinking the same thing but not to that extreme. the ~1300lb of balast i put in the bed squats the truck ~2.5" at the rear axle. measured at the frame to axle bump stops.

2.5" of travel at the axle center point is 3" at the bumper.

might go 2-3" above ride hieght(empty) due to u-joint angles/current springs. since COPTC is allowing solid rear suspension.

depending on how high the hitch point is might run strap/brace form the top of the verticle point to the frame. seeign some classes require X" of travel

You had a good pull IMHO. That track is tricky. It could have been much worse. You could have pulled with me and BDL.;) Any night you go home in one peice is a good night. :D
