I was just excited that I got to use Adam's fancy expensive aluminum trailer! That thing is legit!

And there may have been beer involved :D

Started tearing it apart about 1130, out by 130, everything swapped by 6ish back in the truck, primed fired by midnight

Wow! Sounds like a nice wrench fest :D In my books, a few gear heads, few beers, pulling out/putting in the Dmax is a great night. Especially when it comes time to fire her up:thumb:

Good job, guys.

It's a bed truck. Oilfield stuff grant. Nothing better than watching 6 of those bad boys snub off to a rig and skid her 15ft for the new hole

Wow are the steer axles drivers as well. We use similar trucks here in the PNW for off road loggers but the duel steer axles would not be typical. I have seen a few with 3 drivers though...
Glad you are getting help Adam sorry for the high jack...

Normally yes steer axles are dead but I've seen a few that have the ability to power the steer axles. But they turn like a crap so it's not a common thing.

Engine is.. In... Got poping through intake and exhaust power is down... Doubled check vavle lash, set everything at .010" which I've done on the.last 12-13 engine build/head gasket job I've done.. .

First time I got the heads, decked and valve job.. I got what seams to be valve issues...

Going to let it sit and see what how it runs in the morning

I had some very rough running weird stuff on my second engine and it turned out to be a very very small knick in one of the teeth on the crank reluctor wheel. Small enough I would have never thought it would have made a difference, but it was the issue.
