Wow! Sounds like a nice wrench fest In my books, a few gear heads, few beers, pulling out/putting in the Dmax is a great night. Especially when it comes time to fire her up:thumb:

Wow are the steer axles drivers as well. We use similar trucks here in the PNW for off road loggers but the duel steer axles would not be typical. I have seen a few with 3 drivers though...

Steers are dead axles

Normally yes steer axles are dead but I've seen a few that have the ability to power the steer axles. But they turn like a crap so it's not a common thing.

Engine is.. In... Got poping through intake and exhaust power is down... Doubled check vavle lash, set everything at .010" which I've done on the.last 12-13 engine build/head gasket job I've done.. .

First time I got the heads, decked and valve job.. I got what seams to be valve issues...

Going to let it sit and see what how it runs in the morning

I had some very rough running weird stuff on my second engine and it turned out to be a very very small knick in one of the teeth on the crank reluctor wheel. Small enough I would have never thought it would have made a difference, but it was the issue.
