Well truck seams to have all its gears on the jackstands..
Had p0751, p0843 and p0873.. Figured TCM biched cause there was no fluid in the valve body on intial start up... Cleared them.. Reset taps via efi live... Time for test drive..
Vibration seams to gone...

Tight joints don't mean good joints. You need to rock them around feeling for roughness or stiff spots (shaft out of truck). If you didn't replace that joint with something other than actual spicer or ones from the dealer, I don't trust them. I've watched guys blow up Napa, autozone, oreillys shit (even the "highest grade" they offer).

I agree with the first part, but,

Properly installing a joint is 90% of getting one to last.

Sooo nice to see substantial rpm drop on part throttle shifts while unlocked!!! :happy2:

Still no sign of the vibrations I had last week, fingers crossed it stays that way!!!..
It's been along 18 hour day.. And I still got to fix my oil cooler.. Time for food and sleep..

Did you check to see if the front output was engaged? Something in the transfer case could be worn and causing the vibration.

My 4wd has a slight vibration at 65 mph. Not certain if its from the driveshaft, but its there.

Hope the vibration does not come back. I know it was time consuming and its frustrating to chase vibrations when there are no real indications.

What converter did you end up with?

Proper install only goes so far for crappy joints.

Yes, cheap material doesn't help. I've got close to 70k on my AutoZone joints, couldn't get a pair of moogs the day before a trip.

Transtar A7XL single billet disc $450.00 including $100.00 core..
On foot brake wheels spin about 1600 stock was 2100 with 4.56 gears 3.73 I was able to tack on another 200 or so rpm our of stock TC

It's more like 300 round trip~150 each way
Hell yeah!
On part throttle aspects its tighter then Evans TC by ~300.. Even if you add 200rpm for gear differences between 3.73/4.56

I sure hope so.. Honest reality is, truck is 1/3-1/2 the battle.. What I haven't posted on the forums.. (Mainly didnt want it becoming a poor poor me sob story) Is I got a financial mess to dig out off and time isn't on my side on digging out of these holes.. ;(
I've told handful of people they happen to be on the phone and lent a ear when I needed to vent... And it's much appreciated..

All I will say is what I got in 3 engines would've paid the truck off and 1/2 built transmission... Not counting the 12 weeks I was down.. :(

I'm loaded figured I'd get some videos of how the A7XL TC handles an ~18,000lb trailer.. Truck has 4.56 gears and 225/70/19.5(32") tires
Did all from stop no boosted launches. flash stall, normal accel in both normal and TH modes I cut the normal short once it went into lock up
