I see now they have a torque converter drive unit with up to a 4 speed and they say virtually any torque converter can be run...

1.16 is the lowest std. Lenco ratio, so OD would be nice. Not sure if they can make me a .xx custom ratio. It will be a three speed.

I hope to see them both at Bakersfield... Hear a rumor that NHRDA is having trouble securing a place at the track hope it is just a rumor or they get it figured out... Both car are sweet Russ I would like to see the pretty blue truck as well...:thumb:

No NHRDA events in Cali this year, looks like the opener will be Texas. I'm ok with that, the extra time is good for testing. Sacramento is a good NHRDA possibility for 2017 season, I had four dates for 2016 @ Sac, but none would fit the NHRDA schedule.
As for "The Blue Truck"..., if somebody is looking for a bad ass 2wd Pro Street truck. I'll sell it to the right home as a roller, or we can Finish the build anyway the person wants.

I sent an email to Randy about the possibility of adding Bremerton WA. to the 2016 schedule since Pacific Raceways doesn't seem to like diesels. Bremerton was a little ruff around the edges but have totally renovated... I haven't heard anything back from Randy.
I was planning on Bakersfield don't think I would be able to swing Texas

I'd love to, but I don't think my pockets are deep enough to do that. I learned long ago that I will probably always be a "champagne taste on a beer budget" kind of guy and even if I my beer budget gets bigger I just want more expensive champagne. Plus I really do enjoy building them myself.

Yeah it has been taken, it's actually brads car not ryans. There are only a few names I can think of at the moment.

Batmobile- G and J diesel
Sidewinder- Banks diesel
Honey badger- Ngm diesel
Green machine- Stuckey
Lightning -Schied diesel
Black momba- Darren Morrison
