Friend of mine lost his arm from the elbow down years ago racing sprints in Phoenix, he stopped racing but he still rides his Harley at age 67 with a hook....

No arm restraints I'm guessing? I sold everything off after taking flight and catching fire. Everything goes quiet, slow motion and felt like I was sitting there forever trying to figure out what the orange was.

Ex wife did that while I was sitting in the car lol, never even knew till I saw the pictures. Yup, I would have been around 25 then. Man how time flys...

You arent shitting me on that...and it keeps going faster. I hope you and the Nova continue to do the same. ;)

Back from the dead, reborn as a 69 (Tail panel):thumb: . Going to get the tuning cleaned up and dialed in on the dyno, before hitting the track again. Figure I'll make a trip to ATP in a few weeks and let Rob work his magic.

Looks great. Can't wait to see it back out again.

Neither can I, We started on next seasons 70.5 Dmax Camaro Promod tube chassis this Monday:woott: Tim Mcamis body weighs 135lbs complete, and the 4130 tube chassis was under 500lbs while in the 12'x4.5'x2.5' crate. I'm guessing the chassis kit is around 300lbs.

What is the goal e.t. for the Nova and the Camaro? The Nova is bitchin' and the I'm sure the Camaro will be too!

Yeah, Looked into a C screw from PSI. They would not sell me one and said stay turbo lol. The RPM we turn isn't enough to take full advantage of the C screw, and would be excessively over driven stealing tons of hp. My thought was two atmo turbos into the C screw. Got something else in mind ;) .

Russ your Nova was a big inspiration to me, you and crew were very friendly helping make Woodburn a great time. Glad to see you got it back together and looking forward to seeing it run again. Did you ever figure out why the rear main seal was pushed out?

Thank you, Woodburn is always a blast for us. I have a bunch of family in the area so we make it a vacation every year.

Burned up two forged pistons putting 120+ psi into the crank case. The two 1 1/8" breathers on the valve cover couldn't dump the pressure fast enough, bulging the oil pan and popping out the rear main, in turn oiling the rear tires. The oil pan was flat before this pass, it's bulged even in the rear kick outs. We used 1/8" steel to fabricate the pan...
