I'm fairly certain that I've heard or read somewhere that the '01 LB7 blocks in light duty trucks have mounting locations for medium duty trucks. I think you got it figured but figured I would throw that out there and see if anyone else could confirm it.

Im going to make another plate to bolt to the 4 bolt pads lower on the block .

Connect the two plates and stub up for the ear mount pad .

Thinking maybe even box in some , we'll see what it looks like when done .

johnny call me if you need those bolts

I need the bolts , need to still pull flywheel to add 2 bell housing pan bolts .

Got sidetracked with mounts , or it would be in there with old bolts .

Back at it today . Im tired but still motivated .

Mount strength and height , is topic of the day .

Working on the mounts being Johnny proof or really torque and Glamis proof .

Maybe good enough to get even bigger air at Glamis .

hell i called to see if i could come over and help... then drove ~90miles to help him...
not too mention random phone foot to ass kicks to get johny moving again :baby:

keep up the good work johny;)

Thanks Adam , needed some pushing to stay at it .

And he isnt kidding , he called and said I'll be in your area can I stop by .

We really whooped some ass that day , and your presence was really helpful .

Yesterday and day before Bryan and Jeremy my 2 cummins brothers came to kick me in the pants .

When someone is here I have to work , I cant sit and sulk about problem .

Just go go go Gadget , come up with a solution .

Wanted to make mounts out of 1/2 " , but 1/4 is what I had .

Still might go and get 1/2 and use my plate as templet . Still deciding on this . Depends on how strong I believe the 1/4 plates are when finished .

We'll see today . And taking some material off back of pads on mounts to make them same height as before .

Back at it .......
