I'm sure dp isn't going to be the greatest but cylinder pressure can lift the head easily. More timming more cylinder pressure and more stress on keeping things together/bolted down. I belive the water/meth will increase timming as well when being used so combine that with alot of timming in the tune can make cylinder pressures very high for the hp level your at. Not saying thats what caused it but would be something to consider watching when put back together so it dosen't do it again or bend a rod. I'm just speculating nothing more.

i ran W/M for a year @ 42 psi boost no issues , but remember this was on a gated charger , this is what has me suspiscious of drive pressure causing issue's . from the info i have gotten from guys running the 4094's is egt's are high while WOT ! obviously a 68mm turbo is pushing plenty of air for a single cp3 so the only thing left to run up egt's is drive pressure . has anyone measured a truck ?

My egt's were higher than with the stock turbo maybe I should gate it or maybe try and trade it for an S300 for twins in the future

you could always get it back together.......... hook up a DP gauge and see what it reads , then make a informed discision . i have no proof that DP is high but it does explain the EGT issues's guys have had with the 4094's .

I have helped ally of guys tune 4094 trucks. Same mistake. Too much fuel too much timing. The way these chargers are built they don't need a ton of fuel to spin.

I will have to check. I don't think it was the tune. It was probably just bad luck.


It will be bigger better faster stronger.:D

It's your tune the truck is running

How come you gave your numbers credit to someone else then? Peak timing is 26 degrees on that tune iirc. If it's my tune give credit where it's due. Whether it's for a fast quarter or eating your motor don't bullshit about it. Last time I help you.

what's your peak timing/pulse width ? i think the tune would have to be extremely off to pop a gasket from too much timming .

when I cross the 1320 my EGT's don't go over 1150















Ya right:D my EGT's hit 1800 IIRC i might hook up a drive pressure gauge to see what im looking at.

I had to have someone else look at it to get it run worth a crap. I still cant use your tune at the track because it wont go past 85 in 4WD.

All your tune did was spool the turbo other than that it needed work it is still 98% your tune But it was not drivable the way I got it and you never bothered to look at it to get performing correctly.

I didn't go blaming you for my blown head gasket you were the one who blamed the tuning and it was your tuning.

How was it not worth a shit if it's 98% my tune? You never got me a log. Crediting someone else for that 12.70 is wrong if it was even half my tune. Oh and wait it was FREE.

I couldn't use your tune at the track I use your tune on the street. I am pretty sure I got you a log it really doesn't matter at this point.

The truck wont be going back to the track even once the HG's are fixed because I cant afford a motor right now.

I might go back to the stock turbo and a tow tune till the truck is paid off. This was a lesson that I need to learn from I don't need a $500 dollar a month Yard anchor

If my tune was so bad why did you run it?

It wasn't bad it had a few quite annoying issues that I asked you how to fix. I never heard anything so I had to figure it out with the help of Brandon.

It was defueling at the end of fourth gear and especially in fifth It had some sort of speed limiter on we were able to fix those issues but we never got it to go past 85 in 4wd

Hey man can you just understand my frustration when I just found out you were using my tune? Or at least most of it. That's all. I went out of my way you didn't ask me I just offered it. Pretty rude to say it wasn't worth a shit.

i run the 4094 and my coolant looks the exact same black specs all in it and the bottle is soot stained inside. but the truck runs like a raped ape so im not looking:D
