The turbo combo is a custom Race billet S475/87mm 1.0ar fed by a pair of TCTBMW S475/87mm 1.0 stainless vband. This combo has already made 1763Hp 2450+ftlbs on my engine dyno so it should get Brett his goal of mid 8's as long as trany and traction play nice for him. It is an amazing setup and should be a handful for Brett to drive! Spool up is quick and easy and a baby tune will net 850hp range with a flat curve from 2400rpm until you let off the throttle. His new motor is built to run into the 6K+ rpm range so he needs all the air he can get!:thumb:

Those are some pretty lofty goals.

This same combo is already out there and has made the power. Now we just need to get the trans to hold. Brian just got done building me a new trans, the same one H&S has gone mid 8's with. I went 9.2 with the old motor trans combo so we are setting the bar higher this time around.

Made it to Indy to race today. Converter took a shit first pass but I got some good data logs before it went out. I think I need to add a wastegate to the system. Atmosphere chargers put out 34psi, total boost was 120psi and drive pressure was 96psi. I need to add a gate to the exh housing of the high press charger or add one gate to each manifold. I know nothing about gates so does anyone have a recommendation of what size and brand?
Thanks

Use a quality brand Brett. I b like the Turbo Smart that I am running now. I went big on the high pressure gate at 60 mm. Most people use smaller gates and sometimes run into problems with not having enough gate. It sounds like you atmospheres are just following more than the high pressure can provide for air. Maybe try a bigger turbine as 92 or 96 on the high pressure. Did you get to make a full pass before the convertor let go?

Shane, I may give you a call to talk to you a little more about it. I'm going to talk it over with Mark and see what he wants to do.
I did not get a full pass in. I think I ran a 10.6 @ 88 this new motor is so awesome. I ran on my tune 3 so there is a lot left in it.

With those numbers, I'm not sure I would change anything. You have a 3.3:1 pressure ratio on the atmosphere turbos and 2.7:1 on the high pressure turbo, and drive to boost ratio is .8:1. I don't see what benefit you would get from a gate.

By the way, it was nice to meet you this weekend and to see your truck in person. I wish I had more time to visit and look everything over better.
