I'm at my parents house in Boone NC for the weekend and it 15* and windy. Got around 4-5" of snow last night. Had to help my dad shovel the driveway and I can say that I have a new respect for you guys that work on equipment in this weather. Y'all are nuts!!!! I can only imagine what my wrenches would feel like in my bare hands right now. I am also guessing everyone works in PAC boots cause I lost feeling in my feet an hour ago.

6* this AM in central KY when I fired up the ol' V-dub TDI. It hated life!! Three cycles of the glow plugs didn't seem to help one bit. It sounded like it was about to spit a rod through the block! No heater to plug in on those. Reckon they make an aftermarket blanket for the oil pan or lower block or something? It can't be good?

13 with negative wind chills here north of Baltimore. I hate this place. It was sunny and 75 last week, then it snowed 2 days later. 90s and 90s for heat and humidity all summer. Only decent months are April-May and Oct-Nov here.
