Well it's settled then.......New goal :coolspot:

Well I'll tell you guys this much, I didn't strip out my truck and add a 10 point cage to roll over when someone beats my time. And if I can do what he did or better on a stock engine then that's even better. When this thing has a built engine and mark can tune it like a built engine i don't know what my goals will be but probably won't be 10s lol. I'm down but not out, we have a few things brewing that's for sure..

The cool thing is I know how Ryan feels right now after taking the record from me. And to hit the first 10 is just cool. I'm gonna beat him or push him really hard lol.

I wonder if a guy could cut the gears in a manual truck transmission like they do in a drag banshee trans?? Then you would just use the clutch off the line once and that's it? Not sure if anyone has ever done or tried it with a auto manual trans but if it could be done it would be kickass .

That's what I used to run in my drag rig and you just shift and slides like butter into gear without the use of the clutch damn near like a automatic.

Like a sequential shifter/trans? Would be pricey...

Maybe on the drag quads they actually cut the gears themselves so when you shift without the clutch there is no resistance, slides right into gear like you had the clutch pulled in.

Not sure if it could be done on a truck trans but if so would be the cats ass.

They are straight cut gears/ dog boxes from my search online used in lots of Rally cars for clutchless shifting . Not sure if they make such for a truck but if they do of it could be done you would have the fastest shifting truck yet. Not to mention how much easier it would be on the drivetrain than running the clutch .

I'm sure a guy could have a custom set of gears cut but I'm sure would be costly. Did a quick search and find them offered for some cars but can't find any for the ZF .

There's also a slick shift mod where people machine out every other tooth on the slider and gear so it's more sloppy but dont miss gears

Hand brake.... is someone going to build some boost instead 4K clutch dumps?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Mainly to keep me from creeping and red lighting. But if the other guy stages before me for some reason, I need a few seconds on the limiter to get the boost up where it won't bog the engine when I dump it. So I figure I can hold it on the limiter and bump in with my clutch foot and stop with the hand brake to bump into the beams. And or do some ken block stuff.
