Go to the device manager and see if the USB serial converter is showing up. If so see what IRQ it's being assigned to.. Try another USB port as well because it may be assigned another IRQ.

Yes USB Serial Converter is showing up in the Device Manager. It is recognized with both of my USB ports, however it does not show up in IRQ

So last night I went out for a little drive, nothing over 1/2 throttle. I changed tunes cause i've been battling some high idle psi anyway what felt like 1/8th throttle and the box on my TCC locked RIGHT at the 1-2 shift a few times. Why would the TCC lock if the parameters are not met? With the box off TCC lock up will not happen unless I am at moderate throttle like has always been the case?

Seems there is something with the LLY's that take the normal lock up situation/problem and amplify it ? I never did log the box enough( few times ) to get concrete answers with its function , I did how ever get a def seat of the pants improvement with the tires breaking loose ect even on smaller tunes . I never did have an issue "blowing" through my converter , even at 800 hp so i dont know , when i get my truck back together will have to do some more testing...........

not with those famed LB7 injectors:D... i still get drawn back to when Pat put Casper in the 11's with a GT4088 and Dual CP3's back in 06'? 11.77 @ 114. I will get Rob the data i promised to get him ASAP... the rain has been outrageous here for the past month.

Ours is the same way, it will lock half and 3/4 throttle box on or off, full throttle it will not unless allready rolling till 3rd gear. the box dosent do what it says, im not gonna leave the big ugly flashy lighted thing in the dash if it aint working. I tried to resolve the issues when i first bought it but after about 4 phone calls the comunacation stoped, and not from my end!

When you went back and forth over the phone with us, Jeff I'm assuming, what did he tell you to do? What was the last check you were supposed to perform?

If you have the programmable controllers, you can hook up to them with a PC and read the actual data being monitored by the AlliLocker.

The shop number is listed in our vendor section and on the site.

My converter with the box on locks the converter on the 1-2 shift at 1/8th throttle man im 100% sure of this... i am quite good with MS-DOS based systems and your box shows up as a Removable Device but your GUI is not working for me. Jeff has been really helpful actually, he said he didn't know where the software was and that you'd send it. S Phinney had to do it.... Jeff informed me that this version and the first gens share nothing except the box they are contained in. No one has been able to show me a log in were either version has locked the converter in 2nd gear. I manually grounded my TCC via a switch and it locks your box doesn't lock the TCC at WOT.

No one has been able to show me a log in were either version has locked the converter in 2nd gear.
Like I told you in a PM a few weeks back. The box did lock the converter in 2nd gear on the truck I installed it on. I logged it an verified it, and it was plainly obvious in the difference in the RPM drop on shifts. I'm sorry I don't have a log to show you, but I used my boss's laptop at work to do the logs.

here is the Log from my 11.0 run , it doesn't appear to have any lock up issue's and i had the box in and installed and converteris a 1055 , and yes i know its not a TCM log but it still aply's IMOP like i said i will try to get a log or 2 for curiosity sake in a few weeks when i am dialing the truck in .

If it's locking at 1/8th throttle is the TurboBrake On button "on" ? If when decelerating the turbobrake will lock the converter then the electronics are installed correctly and it's a mechanical issue! Same would apply for 05LLY.

yes when the box is on, on deceleration the converter locks... but why if I hookup a switch bypassing the box will the converter lock once it is grounded? it can't still be a mechanical problem could it?

We are applying the converter with a PWM signal like factory, just a shorter overall apply or "shift time". Your switch is either off or on. That's an instant apply no PWM, just all on. Mechanically if your converter clutches or flow valve aren't working correctly it will lengthen the amount of time that the converter actually does apply.

The time between when we trigger it and when it applies can only be mechanical.
