Go to the device manager and see if the USB serial converter is showing up. If so see what IRQ it's being assigned to.. Try another USB port as well because it may be assigned another IRQ.
Seems there is something with the LLY's that take the normal lock up situation/problem and amplify it ? I never did log the box enough( few times ) to get concrete answers with its function , I did how ever get a def seat of the pants improvement with the tires breaking loose ect even on smaller tunes . I never did have an issue "blowing" through my converter , even at 800 hp so i dont know , when i get my truck back together will have to do some more testing...........

So last night I went out for a little drive, nothing over 1/2 throttle. I changed tunes cause i've been battling some high idle psi anyway what felt like 1/8th throttle and the box on my TCC locked RIGHT at the 1-2 shift a few times. Why would the TCC lock if the parameters are not met? With the box off TCC lock up will not happen unless I am at moderate throttle like has always been the case?
You'll have to go to properties in the ports and see which IRQ it's using. I'll call today and walk you through it.

Electronics either work or they don't... We have plenty of guys out there running them that have no problems. Getting pissed on the internet doesn't help.
When you went back and forth over the phone with us, Jeff I'm assuming, what did he tell you to do? What was the last check you were supposed to perform?
If you have the programmable controllers, you can hook up to them with a PC and read the actual data being monitored by the AlliLocker.

Like I told you in a PM a few weeks back. The box did lock the converter in 2nd gear on the truck I installed it on. I logged it an verified it, and it was plainly obvious in the difference in the RPM drop on shifts. I'm sorry I don't have a log to show you, but I used my boss's laptop at work to do the logs.No one has been able to show me a log in were either version has locked the converter in 2nd gear.

If it's locking at 1/8th throttle is the TurboBrake On button "on" ? If when decelerating the turbobrake will lock the converter then the electronics are installed correctly and it's a mechanical issue! Same would apply for 05LLY.
