I highly doubt it's the ecm And I don't have one to try out either guess I'll tear it down one more time I don't know how the gap could be off the powder coating is not very thick. I'm going to take my old motor down rest the way get that damn reluctor off my old cam and put it on

What cam gear did you use? The reluctor plate from the solid cam gears won't bolt to the two piece ones.

Solid gear never seen a 2 piece or least not ever noticed it being 2 piece

Is it possible to put these things 180 out? I was looking threw the gm manual and it says nothing bout making sure of compression stroke or anything just align them and go which is what I've always done and never had a issue so I'm just thinking out loud and probably retarded thinking at that now

06 + are two piece if you did the assembly you would know if it was.

It was a 1 piece for sure not sure I want to waste time and another main seal but kinda no other option

If you can wait till tonight I will pull the front cover and snap you a pic if it will help... Also not sure if the main seals are part of the gaskets? If they are you can have it, I have a front and rear already, if it will help.

I already burned threw my spare and that kit didn't have them thanks though already got it tore down I'll load a pic may have found my issue

There really close but maybe it's enough to mess it up
The cam and crank are timed right not s tooth off or anything so if this doesn't work try and find a ecm

If the cam is 180 out would I get a cam sensor code? Where it's trying to fire on the exhaust stroke rather then the comp stroke

Iirc if the cam is 180 out you will bend pushrods.

I wouldn't think you would. It's like just actually being on the exhaust stroke rather then being on the compression stoke when the injector fired no?

I didn't have a main seal so all I do was silicone the cover back on I may pull it off and put my compression test in number 1 and them spin it and watch the the marks

Cam is in correctly no doubt there now waiting for the parts truck to drop off my front main seal and slap it in and throw the accessories back on and see if it starts if it don't I'll find a ecm to try

Well no luck still that code even with the one wheel from my previous engine and my old sensor in and a new sensor. Think I have a ecm I can try borrowing but has a screwed up bootloader but should let it start anyway
