I highly doubt it's the ecm And I don't have one to try out either guess I'll tear it down one more time I don't know how the gap could be off the powder coating is not very thick. I'm going to take my old motor down rest the way get that damn reluctor off my old cam and put it on

Solid gear never seen a 2 piece or least not ever noticed it being 2 piece

Is it possible to put these things 180 out? I was looking threw the gm manual and it says nothing bout making sure of compression stroke or anything just align them and go which is what I've always done and never had a issue so I'm just thinking out loud and probably retarded thinking at that now

If you can wait till tonight I will pull the front cover and snap you a pic if it will help... Also not sure if the main seals are part of the gaskets? If they are you can have it, I have a front and rear already, if it will help.

I wouldn't think you would. It's like just actually being on the exhaust stroke rather then being on the compression stoke when the injector fired no?

I didn't have a main seal so all I do was silicone the cover back on I may pull it off and put my compression test in number 1 and them spin it and watch the the marks
