The trans tuning SCT/Spartan seems to get them there best ET before it goes out and you don't see to many making up lost ground over there stock vs built. Unlike a built allison and for me in a 05 i went from a 14.5 to 13.5 by just installing a stage 3 SC. I don't see any 6.0/6.4 power strokes making up a full second after they get a built trans and add no other power adders.

Not my tune - Dmaxtuner. Tony ran stock trans into the 12s just before he took it to brayden to build. Brayden said it was already showing signs of wear after maybe 5-10 runs in the 12s and some nasty street time. Vid is 12.79, think 12.78 was best. And it scales around 66-6700 for those wondering (tailgate was only thing removed and he was around 310 at the time).

Raptor lift pump, EFI tune from Nick, straight pipe. Stock trans tune.

Trans never limped once.

I am running some modified Nick tuning also.

Remember the LMM defuels bad on the shifts too.

I think that 600 is not unrealistic with a stock bottom end stock turbo and stock injectors, maybe it won't take it. I am going to push it as far as possible.

Tom, how long is 131 raceway open? I want to make a pass on a stock trans.

My filter is missing for a while and my EGR is going to disappear completely.

Trentnell has the setup I am after or better.:thumb:

I am 6500 without a tailgate and me in it rolling 285's BFG's. I also have a gooseneck hitch I could take out. Spare tire is missing. I might be able to get to 6000 with low fuel gooseneck out, spare battery, sway bar off, and stock 245's. If I have to, the bumper will get replaced with a roll pan.

Sorry, but I'm skeptical as hell on that one.

It only took a 13.9 to hurt Casper's stock trans in 5 passes. LB7 transmissions aren't stronger than LLY transmissions.

Guess I was lucky, made 25 passes on my stocker with JoshH's race tune, along with Rob's race tune for my very last time at the strip. Never limped once.

Remember the 6 speeds from the factory are a lot stronger than the 5 speeds.

I limped mine second time I ran through the gears on a quadzilla 120 and nothing more, not even on the track, just the street.

anyone have an idea of the fastest time on a canned tune, you know, no EFI.

I know Kevin L went 13.05 in his lifted lb7 with PPE tuning.

The 13.05 was with a built trans I never pushed my stock tranny that hard

I look forward to seeing some 6.4's running quick times and time will tell if they can last a long time with these power levels. I don't think so

The 6.0 is a fricken disgrace. Diesel Power had a 6.0 that had blew its motor at 70,000 miles it now has a built motor and it runs 14.0 flat.

My LB7 Is still runs like a top with 170,000 miles and give or take 500 whp
the only hickup was the head gaskets which taught me not to use a non wastegated turbo.

You still talk about that... I am making WAY more power than you are and my head gaskets are still intact. My EGT's are lower than yours and I run 3300pw with big timing. Blowing head gaskets with stock bolts is a gamble... you took a chance and the cards didn't fall in your favor.

I wouldn't say alot n might b even if it is said the the 5 speed coverter is strong than the 6 speed...

You have got to be kidding me right? I have NEVER heard of a CC/SB LB7 or LLY run a 12 second ET with a stock transmission NEVER... I have seen the 6 speeds do this
