You still talk about that... I am making WAY more power than you are and my head gaskets are still intact. My EGT's are lower than yours and I run 3300pw with big timing. Blowing head gaskets with stock bolts is a gamble... you took a chance and the cards didn't fall in your favor.

The HTT 66mm seems like a great option... only problem with going with a T3 pedestal is you can only go so big, with a T4 sky is the limit.

Damn 114 MPH

The 4094 didn't really fit my needs with the lift and the tight converter it was laggy I like quick spool I came from an Sti which has basically no lag at all

The egt's are a known problem with the 4094 its not just me my stock turbo only hits 1600 peak.

I am trying to save my pennies for some twins :D

The 6.0 is a fricken disgrace. Diesel Power had a 6.0 that had blew its motor at 70,000 miles it now has a built motor and it runs 14.0 flat.

.

White 6.0 2wd in this months right?

Tim blew it up running 100% methanol.

his fastest time was 13.65 @ 104 about 2 months ago when I was racing with him

At the time Harry did the photoshoot, he was running 14's.

You have got to be kidding me right? I have NEVER heard of a CC/SB LB7 or LLY run a 12 second ET with a stock transmission NEVER... I have seen the 6 speeds do this

NOPE:)

No I can't explain any further without teaching everyone how to build a better converter which I won't do.
The 6 speed converter is weaker to begin with and cannot be built as strong as the 5 speed... (Courtesy of Mike L.)

So for you to say its way better, aaaaa, that can be just a personal opinion. drivetrain is only as strong as the weakest link.

that was not the question at hand... you said the 6 speed converter is weaker therefor the 5 speed transmission is stronger... THE 5 SPEEDS IN STOCK FORM ARE WEAKER THAN THE 6 SPEEDS, the 6 speeds hold more power.

sorry paint fumes. I was thinking more of the entire truck running down the road and not just the 6 speed tranny. Maybe the 6 speed tranny is better, Ill def agree to that. Then couple it with the 6 speed converter, the 5 speed tranny with the 5 speed converter, and maybe its NOT so much better, just better maybe:book:

I will say it has been my experience that in stock form, a 6 speed transmission will hold more power than a 5 speed.
