Ken's first tranny built for Whiteout by Big Dipper did not flare, but shifted very nice on the track with my tuning. Bearing took that tranny out. We are stuck with what we have at the moment.

Bottom line, the allison can be made to work and shift well to a point.

There has been one 9 second pass with an Allison and that is Trent in a very light weight, back halved, stripped truck. Hopefully that will change next year and all the trucks running 140MPH and above with an Allison will be in the 9's as there HP shows they should be.

Again, I love the Allison in my street truck. Tows 18,000 pound trailer and races almost every weekend. Shift perfect on 11-12 second passes. Race truck is a race truck and not built to pull loads or drive around, but built to go down the 1/4 mile as quick as possible.
