Custom Cat twin Filter setup

Heres mine, 1R-0750 and a water seperator of a skidsteer that I cant remeber the number right now
Is it mandatory to have a lift pump to run aux filters? It will probably be at least a year before I get a built transmission and really need the extra fuel.

Well it looks like a 1R-???? number on that seperator but all of our Cat SSL's run a 361-9555 which have the same filter base as the one you show. Ours are all 2012's and 2013's. The older 2011 we had used a different number filter. Same style setup just the slots for the keyways were different.
I'm fixing to start gathering parts to build this setup I can get the filters and bases from work since I also work at a cat dealer. But what all line and fittings will I need?

I used Arctic grade 1/2" Air/Fuel line, 1/2" compression & pushlock fittings , from the local hose & fitting store in town. 1/2" Compression fittings work perfect on the factory fuel line. I just used a mini tubing cutter to splice into factory line. 1/2" compression fittings can be had in any type of adapter fitting, so you could use any line you wanted. As you know, just make sure it's fuel rated.

I goin to order the ppe pump would the install kit they sell with it start in the the right direction? And I work for Thompson Cat

i got to get ride of this 80.00 OEM filter crap... i remember when they where 40 bucks!
though most of you run CAT i have a a baldwin version of the 0749 (BF7587) and a BF1259(cat number ???) dealer 10 mile from my house....
FWIW i run 2 mic for about 60-70k then change them. unles i get some dirty fuel

These are some slick setups. How many gph pump would you need for 500-550 hp? I don't see me ever having more than that. What pump do you guys recommend?
