Didn't Wade sell a complete short block to one of our members here and it didn't have rod or main caps on it? After 4 weeks he still han't made good on it. Don't know if this was resolved or not.

What I said was..you seem to have a way of slamming a guy while still offering tech content.
Since I am no longer a mod as I address things I see fit. I don't care for Wade and have a great deal of respect for Guy as he is the best in the business as far as I am concerned. Guy can openly post and reply without havig people put words in his mouth, as usually happens in the internet. I absolutely feel Guys time is worth at least a purchase. I have often spoke to people on the phone for hours or numerous occasions to see them have someone else do their trans or buy parts somewhere else...and it does suck that people want the top dollar info with the bottom dollar price tag. Not to mention the people you try to help over the phone all of a sudden become experts on the internet....not long after at that.
While speaking of free parts and testing...
I have tried every converter out there. At my own expense I purchased them, installed myself, reported my finds....but I don't feel the need to come out here and beat on my chest to make sure someone comments about my good nature. Mike gets most if not all of the info I have, he posts a great deal of my findings and I am OK with that. So you aren't the only one in that boat.
I sure hope this stays..........

X2 Pat, I and others understand that, some would like to hear the whole story though. from Guy himself. If these cranks really were breaking (which I still havent seen evidence yet). Its kinda funny though, with the recent events and all....

Unfortunately Mike, this is often inevitable...Racers don't always want other racers to know what they're running, what works, or what doesn't...
As far as conclusions and speculation, those two are the same as ASSuming...
Just to make myself clear. I never wanted to defame or hurt anyone at all, thats just not me, but i posted what i knew to be true. As i belive that all should know the truth. To me the truth should always be told no matter what the outcome is.

Yeah, I do get a bit harse when I see the kind of post that Wade made. I guess it's a touchy subject for me, having to defend the problems I've had racing.
i dont understand where the notion that everyone will disrespect Guy's parts and business if there in fact were other failures....shit happens, some parts don't mix well, injectors can be crap, tuning can be wrong, but I don't sense at all on this board that people will stop buying from Guy if there were other failures. therefore if there is more to the story, it should be heard, because as MMLMM said, it is better to have the full truth than have everyone out there speculating and drawing there own conclusions
Mike it was resolved, though it was about a month before it was fixed, the result was i fired (3) employees.
It seems so hard to sift through all this stuff , and try to figure whats what. I guess it being cuz Im a newbie and not really in the circle of the diesel world .I do understand everyone has to form their own opinons . Its stuff like this and the rods issue makes me second guess if I want to push the limits of my duramax .Dont get me wrong I like the idea of hotrodding . Thats the reason I come here to try and learn . I would certianly like to thank McRat and all the members here that try and help us newbies .

Some of your problems have been self inflicted, despite what you want to believe.

Instead of discussing failures of trucks you have no connection to, why don't you start a thread about all the problems you've had with Dodges, and why you're switching to Duramaxes. That would help out a lot of folk.

I'll try to make this a little more clear...If I was going to make a post regarding a MAJOR engine component failure (broken crank, rod, piston, cam), I would be 100% sure who's vehicle it was, how/when/why it happen, how I heard about it and get permission from them to talk about it...

No, the Dodge is the superior engine, I read it all the time.
PS - Only after having to hassle with bad engine transaction extensively, did you finally correct it. I really don't like being put in as a mediator into a dispute with a non-vendor selling stuff here.
