If I havent plugged the truck in, and then dont cycle the glow plugs three times, my truck chugs like an old detroit. It smooths out after about 30 seconds, but damn if it isnt ugly until then.

Ive never tried cycling the glow plugs multiple times does that really help doing so? The coldest we every really see is in the single digits and maybe a few times in the winter -10 or so

On e upon a time on a -38 day I actually couldn't start mine, it would crank fast and fire off but only for a second, I did that over and over until I gave up. Checked fuel and it wasnt gelled, even at the motor. Came back at -10 and it fired off on the third try.

Now in AZ the light never even comes on :woott: :woott:

Mine starts right up at 19°F.

Might take it to church tomorrow, see how it does at 8°F. Got new batteries since that video, so probably do fine.

Hmm. Need to start mine for you guys, it turns over at like 25 rpm, pretty sure I got the shittiest batteries ever.

But this trucks always been in heat or plugged in, I feel better if it's already somewhat warm when I fire it up.
