Just dropped off some parts for powdercoat. I'm heading out of town tomorrow so I won't be making very much progress. Tonight I am hoping to finish stripping the frame.

Did you use diesel or seafoam on the frame? Plan on doing mine as well this summer. Will be using chassis saver to repaint it.

Yea I wanted to rule out the thought of fuel holding me back I have a feeling my trans will be the next problem.

I'm guessing no billet internals yet? Lol with all that fuel id be scared haha.

Parts collected for the build. SoCal super damper, SoCal billet flex plate, SDP S400 kit, II 85% CP3, PPE manifolds/up pipes, PCV reroute. Slowly but surely lol

Caden I ordered 2 AD 200's a few weeks ago, why are we thinking so alike long lost brothers?

250% injectors and as of right now 2 II 85% cp3's but I'm very seriously contemplating going with striker pumps or maybe 200% over II pumps. I'm unsure on pump setup I've seen II get a lot of flack I'm not sure what the truth is behind II's injectors and pumps being bad maybe someone with first hand experience could chime in

I'll be running II pumps on my truck. Only time I have seen them have a problem was when we unplugged a triple fueler controller on a truck so it held full rail, and when we were dynoing the pump exploded due to it pumping out max pressure at such a low rpm. I wouldn't be hesitant to run them.

I'll chime in, I've had one of their 85% pumps fail on me after 15K miles. I've also received a set of injectors from them that didn't have the nozzles torqued to the body. That was a fun problem to track down on an LB7. I've yet to have Exergy anything fail on me. The only guys that have good luck with II tend to be the ones that live in Utah and go to their shop.

See this is the stuff that scares me. I want to like II I really do I mean I respect there builds and they seem like good people, but I've seen a lot of similar stuff on the forums and when it comes to the kind of money we put into this stuff, taking chances isn't something I'm real comfortable with. We take chances every time we put any part on it regardless, but everyone does there best to minimize risk by purchasing reputable parts...really don't know what I'm going to do here.

Some of us locals have issues as well. I don't have anything II on my truck but I watched an 85% pump grenade on the dyno at Edge before on a local guys truck.
