yeah, perhaps i misunderstood what he was saying...I was under the impression that there had not been any engine-specific fine tuning to the high rever that he was running.

As far as i know no engine specific tuning has been done. No dyno tuning, No track tuning, No special high rpm tuning at all. Just a engine designed for high RPM....

You cant compare the tune in Wade's engine to a stock truck.
If you where to load the tune form Wades's truck in stock truck I doubt it would even start.

High compression and large injectors means everything must change.:thumb:

I was really hoping John found the horsepower table. You know, the one where you just put in what horsepower you want, and EFILive does the rest. Darn!

The purpose of the "light" tune was to ensure that the engine could handle it first. We did not know that it would produce almost twice the power though.

now we know, and race season is over!

We have lots of data and will be making several changes over the winter.

Got a shot to share, almost 1200hp is impressive and more so if made up high as you have stated.

Thank you mike!

Honestly this thing is gutless down low, but after 4500-4800 she starts hauling the mail, The higher it goes the harder it pulls, clear up to the efi limited RPM wall.

Wow!!!

I have that table Josh!!!:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl: But it's going to cost a bunch until sumeone else finds it! Then I can sell it, But not until someone else finds it. I'm keeping it all for MYSELF!!! ME,ME,ME,ME,ME!!! ALL MINE. I'm working(under testing) on the ET Table. It's even simpler, You just plug in the ET and EFI does the tune to get you there. When it's working correct(now it goes to fast sometimes) I will be back into the racing scene kickin a$$ and taking names. Anyone want to give a nobody a bunch of free parts so I can make you look good on the interwebbie!!:hug: I promise I will talk you up. Jeff(has been, never was, wannabe, big wheel racer!)

I don't mind folk who want to be remembered the same way Vince the ShamWow guy will be.

As long as they can temper that with respect for their fellow racers, don't slander shops who they aren't customers of, and don't rip off other folk.

It's not asking a bunch, but it's not optional either.

So basically what your saying is that the tune your using technically should make about 600 hp in a convetional Dmax but in your moddified application it produces almost double that???

What allows this result? Light weight parts? If this is the case then in my mind that is one VERY efficient engine and if it could be dumbed down for the average consumer then it could result in excellent fuel effeciency and longevity...

I'll have 10,000 posts one day...by that time I will be typing with my kane

That's it, I'm making a trip to the Ohio/Pennsylvania area. Between the two of you, I'll find both of those tables.

You are Welcome!

Are you going to post a dyno shot of this thing Wade. 1150Hp at 5252rpm is 1150lbs/ft torque. I'd be most interesed in that torque for sure at that rpm.

Yea i may do that later this winter, were going to make a few changes and then dyno tune, John and i both have to find time though.
