First #4 break I've seen.. In a core engine I picked up. Never enen noticed till pulled mains to lift out..

Someone please bump lbz/lmm count by 3 for me. That's how many we have seen hit the floor in past 2 months...

Add another LBZ to the count, mine let loose this morning. Guess I am in the market for a fix maybe an LMM short block ???

By the looks of all the fasteners and the rtv application, nothing would surprise me. Member on here bought the truck used and had to straighten bunch of stuff out to even get it to run. Then breaks crank first pass out.

Probably main cap/block fitment issue. Caps to small/blocks too wide, cap walks, spins main bearing, makes crank brittle, now your crank is a 2 piece.

Has anyone had any failures or can name and “cons” for the new callies durastar crank ? Other than it needs to be properly internally balanced to your rotating assembly. Seeing if there’s any failures before purchasing.

I don't think there are enough of them out there to say either way if they are worth it or not or any better than the other more popular options that are out there.
