O rings are the same color on the 6 speed. Black plastic Trim sol goes on the out side ( on the end ) and brown goes on the inside.

not 100 % posative just going off of memeroy( iys been a while) but i think the friction side faces the apply plate .Should the new C1's friction side be facing the shaft?
Yep, friction facing the apply plate (into the drum).
Yes. You notice that it has the same configuration as the platic washer. That is installed to raise the ring gear to better support the extra clutches.I am not for sure where the C3 P1 Ring Gear Thrust Element Spacer goes. It sounds like it goes between the thrust washer and the P2 Planetary carrier assembly. Is that correct?
The Pressure Reg shim goes between the Main Pressure Regulator Vavle spring and Pressure regulator valve stop. Correct?
What about the Stator busing? I believe I would just replace the Oil Pump body/converter hub bushing with this stator bushing.

Also, I just got a rebuild kit. What is the difference between D ring seal and Outer D ring seal?
How deep should the molded apply pistons sit in the case bore? Should I push the molded apply pistons down as far as it will go in the designated spot? Hope that's correct!
