How did you get new ones?
you should have 16 single sided clutches in a 6 speed, I see 12 get your money back
if you notice they are double sided clutches( stock) ....... he was ripped off by the builder .
Give us a count of how many are in each clutch pack .I will go talk to the owner once I get this thing back together. I want to show that I did a better job then they did! Is there a way to tell if C2 and C3's are stock?
I picked up some E.P. Anti-seize engine assembly lube with moly and graphite today at checkers. The package recommends it for transmission assembly. Any thoughts?

i have always just used clean ATF to lube parts for assembly . maybe some one else has tried it ?[/QUO
got his from another thread , here is what each kit shoulf have for clutches .
Suncoast 3 contains 14 Alto C1 one sided clutches with thick apply plate. C2 contains 7 Alto frictions with kolene steels and .200 apply plate, C3 has 5 Alto frictions with kolene steels, and C4 has 6 Alto frictions and kolene steels. Transgo shift kit is included with both filters.
Suncoast 4 has 16 C1 one sided Alto's with custom machined apply and pressure plates. C2 contains 7 Alto frictions and kolene with a wave plate and apply plate. C3 has 6 Alto frictions with kolene steels and .250 apply plate with custom machined apply piston as does C4. A ring gear spacer is supplied to support extra C3 clutch. Transgo shift kit, converter flow valve, and some models get a special C1 dump valve. A pressure regulator spacer is also supplied and both filters.
I have only counted the C1's. I have 12. I am scared of taking all the other ones apart until I get my kit. I might forget where stuff goes. I have already forgot were this large round magnetic goes. I will keep everybody posted on what I find. I will use ATF for the VB.
Thanks to everybody for there support thus far.

Looking for more problems? Do not use this stuff on a trans.
