You sure that frame you bought wasnt bent?
If it is bent, it's bent a whole lot less than the one I pulled out. When I pulled the radiator core support body mount bolts out everything on the front clip jumped back the the DS on the original frame. As I was hit on the DS going to the PS.
I'm sure there is a lot of stuff slightly "tweaked"
Things like DS fender needs to be tweaked back so my headlight assembly mounts correctly.

I haven't even mounted the hood yet 🫣

Put the hood on it and square up the sheet metal. That fender brace on the fire wall could be bent as well as a few other things. That should give you a better picture of what's going on.

So this came up in my FB history, last dmax I blew up was 7 years ago.. failure was ripped #4 main web on a lb7/LLY block that was running main studs.
I've got 2 LBZ/LMM based dmax engines here, one needs a block other is a LMM block that needs bored..

One of the comments was @Chevy1925 mentioning getting a LML (11-16) block
How interchangeable is it?
Should I start keeping an eye out for one?

For whatever reason the LML seem to fetch a Premium but I don't know why. Supposedly a stronger casting from what I am told.

I wouldn't pass up an LBZ/LMM block though.

I guess it depends on what your doing with it.

Yeah, increase in webbing and I think thickness in a few areas. Supposed to be stronger.

I'm pretty sure they are compatible with all prior generations with no significant differences. It's more about what gets bolted onto or into it

I think the only major was the thread for the oil sensor. I see an adaptor for sale to use older block with newer sensor for a 2011+ wiring.

You can also go the other way too.

Little of everything, HP limit is what ever stock injectors support with a sportsman CP3 feeding them. That's what ~600 at the wheels? Plan on swapping nozzles to 7 hole via Industrial or DDP which are like 10-15% over
Definitely not planning on towing like I did with my LMM dually

Got the PS fender aligned, DS better fitting,
The in-radiator transmission cooler fitting are metric vs SAE running M22-1.50 vs 7/8" got a new set of -10 adapters
Pickup up a little trans cooler for the Power steering system. Found out I used all my -6 to M14x1.5 fittings..

Looks like AC upgrades are possible, the condenser from my 01 2500 burb fits, will most likely need new lines.
The burb condenser is ~6" longer.
The rear AC in my burb has been deleted for a while and no freeze up just running the front.

Also trans line routing.. does the transmission outlet run into the top or bottoms radiator fitting?
Edit googled found a PDF from FPE
