Yup the suburban AC condenser is larger. Hopefully you can make the lines work with out too much modifications.

That looks better, I have a clean stock front shaft that'll go in for now, to replace the original rusty unit, drive line store said ~425, they'll re tube with 2.250* .125 wall and u joints

The hell do you need that fancy front shaft for?
I don't.... Yet...
Probably will with ~6-650hp with a Quick responsive spooling turbo(s) and 35" It probably will be money well spent.

Think, raw wooded hilly land and a 4*4 towing a ~20-22k GN full of equipment and supplies to homestead with possible copious amounts of throttle 😎

Going to blow some other front end stuff too at that rate

So it's funny we were just discussing the Drive Shafts.

I don't know if you watch Youtube, But a certain "mechanic" on YouTube just went through his second rear 2 piece drive shaft on his dually LBZ.

He upgraded to a 1 piece, 5 inch unit with a DHD billet 1480 pinion yoke.

I want to upgrade both of mine at some point in the future.

Friend was joking about "big money" getting my stock driveshaft retubed and new ujoints for little over 5 bills.
Told him nah that's just barely above stock sent him DHD links , for the 5"x .125 wall aluminum tube yoke and pinion yoke and your ~1500.00 in parts and still dont have anything usable... yet. some jump to 1510 with a 5" tube

Made progress, scored better used hood and substantially less cracked grille, hood needs some hammer work on leading edge.

Finish putting exhaust on, tighten up fuel line fittings, put ECM/TCM back in, add coolant, put batteries in, should be able to start it. Put shocks in the rear, drive shafts in, trans spin on swap, oil change, both trans and engine leak sitting🤦🏻‍♂️
Grounds transferred

Figure something out with the ITBC module, ,06 earlier frame doesn't have mounting holes.

Got a lead on complete OEM bumper that I get to pickup tomorrow morning.

NoCal my front fenders.

Debating whether to spend ~650 for a B&W GN hitch or build one for ~250.00

Should be able to start it tomorrow night

I haven't seen a 1510 option yet.

There is a few Drive shaft companies that sell a 5 inch drive shaft but I think they are mostly 1480 or 1410 depending on how you want to go. Obviously need the pinion yoke for the 1480 option.

Not a fan of the Drive shaft shops I have here in my area....

Got a complete front bumper this morning,
Got enough on to start it and get fluid levels set, power steering and transmission
Needs new batteries soon.
Changed trans spin on, might have been an original, there was some stuff on the magnet not much

It runs, did a little burn out in the shop, a lot of axle wrap/hop with no shocks on the rear lol.
took almost a gallon to top the trans off between it leaking and lines and coolers where basically dry,
I know I need to replace the wire harness in my trans as the plug is leaking. I think the pan seal was also weeping.

I have the parts just not ready to tackle that right now. I think I might need the pan filter. I don't think it came with the deep pan I bought.

I just need a few bolts to button things up, on the engine. Then I need both Idler pullies and the tensioner pulley along with a belt.

I finally found a local place to Cerakote to the new exhaust manifolds I purchased. Thinking about having them powder coat my brackets and valve covers if things go well.

Other then that, I am down to Turbo and Injectors on mine... Been trying to get rid of extra stuff to recoup funds but no ones spending money.

Both engine and transmission pans are extremely rusty I bought a trans gasket and filter, I've got several clean OEM engine oil pans plus PPE version, looking at getting a PPE trans pan as well
Right now just getting the basics caught up

Thats what I bought for the engine and the trans from Brad. The engine lower was damaged in the wreck and the trans just had a stocker shallow on it.
