So I change my ride height every three days it seems like and don't have any issues with drivability. I will say make sure the bump stops on the lower control arms are in decent shape or at least still there. I pulled mine off cause they were in such bad shape I didn't see how they could have been helping things in anyway, well a short drive to the car wash netted me some hard contract between the LCA and the pad where the bump stop bolted. Hard enough to crack the pad and beat it up a little. So new bump stops were installed immediately. Also make sure to use a jack when adjusting t bars. I didn't learn the hard way but known some who have.

I found that installing the z71 jouncers help mine hook somewhat... more spring to lift the front. I did cut mine way down though to keep my ride high where it was with the stock ones.

What are you guys doing about bump stops? I ride with my t bars about 6 turns below stock all the time, street and track. My bump stops are touching sitting still and busted up pretty bad. Should I just cut the tops off them to give a little room?

I just bought some new z-71 jouncers and installed them to replace the worn out stockers. I haven't been back to the strip yet though.

Do you remember the P/N you bought?

While changing my shocks today I saw mine were torn and parts missing. I thought they were solid rubber but I guess not.

I'm going to the stealer thurs to get some.

So for a daily driver/ weekend warrior whats a better shock to help with 60ft times... A bilstein 5100 or a rancho? I cant justify the money on the qa1's or q1a's whatever they are lol.

Best I could do with old yellow bilstein's at full weight was a 1.8. I just installed 9000's and hope to go to the track this weekend and see how they do.

Yes they are on both. Rancho has or had...not sure if it is going on still a $100 rebate when you buy four. I searched around the internet for best price and ordered a set. I like the ride but haven't been to the track yet to see if they make a difference.

Ok sorry to bring this back but I'm trying to figure out what settings to put the 9000XL's too for the track. Firm in the front to help hold down the front and soft in the rear so the truck will squat?

Still learning.

Just have to try. Set shocks to 3. Make 5 passes without any other changes. Adjust shocks to 5 and repeat. Adjust to 7 repeat. You get the idea. Actually you only have to run out to about the 100 foot zone. That way you can focus more on how the truck is reacting at launch and save some fuel:D
