Another dumb question but I see ii sells 2 different pumps a new and reman pump. If then are modifying a used pump won't they bore the cylinders and replace the pistons? So if I purchased a reman pump I shouldn't have to worry about it being a used modded pump? Sorry to highjack the OP
I haven't read but the first page. At work... but unless you have pulling restrictions that say no dual pumps I would get those. They hold better pressure and will outlast a modified pump. Easier install also, well I'm guessing on thay part as I've never done duals

Give them a call... I called and chatted with Todd on my rail issues. He told me my 10,000 mile LLY injectors were the problem & are known to have problems??? Injectors are fine, my POS Kerma tips are the problem. The T&C pump that I know of seems to be working fine. I just wasn't impressed with the sales tactics...
People at II are idiots... I called them saying I had low rail pressure with there 85% pump, and he told me I need to get bigger injectors so I will have better rail pressure. Basically it won't build pressure cause the stock injectors don't flow enough fuel.. Wouldn't buy anything from an idiot salesman who is giving technical support.
Got a 60% pump from T&C. Wouldn't hold desired rail pressure of 25000psi on a stock injector LB7 running 3100 pulse width. Todd blamed it on the LB7 being an inferior platform and insisted that EFI could not log over 22,000psi rail pressure on an LB7. He thought maybe the injectors were the problem so I tried the pump in a different truck with the same results.
Thanks, seems like a lot of people are either having problems with their modded pumps or customer service from the builders of them..I guess if a stock one goes out with duals I can usually pick one up on the forums for a few hundred bucks vs. a new missed one..
if you can find a good low mileage LBZ cp3 for a few hundred dollars let me know cause i'll buy 10 of them they are usually 500-600$ depending on mileage
There's an lly one on the forum for $450 shipped..can an lbz one be used in an lly in a dual application?
Lol, sounds like the same call I had with him. "Your injectors are junk and you need to replace them all" was kind of how it went...
The 60% pump we got seems to be working fine, for what it's worth.
I thought shane said he would only mod lb7/lly ones now. There was no difference in the end result and they were easier?
