Dieselson, how are you Dude!

Really i am fortunate to have a Wife patient with my Mid life crisis and NEED FOR SPEED.

The rest is just droppin LARGE CASH. Be patient, watch the market... It's gonna get competitive (it has to, we are GREEDY AMERICANS) when it does deals will be made, prices will come down, margins will shrink. The less than adequate business people will fall to the side creating volumn discounts for the business left over.

I'll load pict's when i return from Chiropractor

I feel young... apparently i am getting older (42). I hammered my body when i was younger. I raced Motocross for Suzuki for several years, baseball, beer league softball etc. I've had 9 surgerys on ankles/knees combined. Number 10 will be soon as i have advanced arthritis in my ankle, the shots don't work anymore gonna fuse the bones.

Heavy parts, like my new turbo:D, give me NO GRIEF, it's a labor of love:rofl:

The price of parts make my a*s hurt.:joker::rofl:

Jeeez! What a morning. Here are some picts.

I am matching the exhaust ports to the gaskets and will attach larger up pipes from exhaust to turbine. This should make HP rise a little... spooling worse... but i hope to get some back with cam design...it should decrease resistance between the exhaust valve and the turbine...this is a good thing. I'll wrap them (mani's/pipes/turbines) to keep it all HOT and save $1800 for headers that could melt half the stuff under my hood and prolly only good from 2400-5000 RPM, IMHO.

The last picture is my S-400 (little more than a standard A5K slightly less than a GT-42) and the extra turbine housing. How could i miss with the housing? If the little one doesn't work... I'll try a bigger one.

If that doesn't work... I'll hose it! :D

I should mention, I attached a picture of the gasket tracer around the exhaust port of the head. As you can see the gasket line (for the most part) represents the exhaust manifold outline, huge difference! There appears to be room for improvement here but i won't know for sure until i get the heads from Guy. Bigger isn't always better, but in the reading i have done the exhaust side is as, if not more important, than the intake side for us. We can shovel more in, we may not be able to shovel it out fast enough.

I'll pull the spec's Saturday.

Compressor Wheel Inducer - 75mm
Compressor Wheel Exducer- 100mm
Turbine Wheel Inducer - 83mm
Turbine Wheel Exducer - 74mm

As stated earlier, I picked up the smallest and next to smallest housing they offered, just in case.

Didn't know they made a 74mm? Is that (74) one of the older S-400's from the "big rigs"? I'll call Dave but I am purdy sure this is what i got, without dismantling. In case it means something to you, this is an XS, supposedly a hoj poj of parts from dif makers.

pretty slick looking setup! hows the engine coming along?

it's been 3 weeks this week, so pistons should be ready/close, rods done, heads been done, crank done, studs ready to P/U. Need the pistons to check balance. I need to start cleaning and bagging parts in prep for assembly. My kid got a job at Chevy stealership... ooo i get a deal on parts now!

We started fabbing the hood today. It's gonna look stock only alot meaner.

Once i get pistons it's balance and re-assemble. Long story short gettin' really close.:D

looked for flaws/cracks, cleaned , polished, prep for install and fresh bearings. The standard hot rod stuff. Do you have first hand knowledge of an issue or pre-install treatment to avoid an issues later? Please advise.

I asked the machine shop to pull all or as many of the dimensions off of it he could in case i break it, unlikely with what is currently a mid size charger. But still if it breaks, a stocker will not be going back in, so i want the critical stuff now in an effort to save brain damage/time later. I have heard of a few breaking but they had twins and alot more HP than me.
