I told some of you guys I would post a pic of the truck when i got the front clip/core out. Well here it is! It took a little more than I thought... With all the wires and engineered routing of same it's like a nuclear reactor under the hood! The bed was a piece of cake. I'll have the motor out this Saturday, earlier if i can skate outta work for a day, and off to the machine shop. FYI! Not everybody has a torque plate for a 6.6 diesel.

All kinds of room for improvements in terms of space and weight savings.

is that a BANKS tuner in the pic?

I didn't see this response... uhhhh yea. I tried a little stacking with EFI to see if i could get a switchable tune/with parameter dealie going... just fartin around!

On another note! Truck update. The MPI twins are gone for the time being, MPI has a supply chain issue and i can't afford to pay to have the truck sit while i wait, no malice intended. I am dissapointed to have come this far after so much discussion regarding it to not be able to move forward with it.

After a FEVERED single search, I think i've found the one... The A5K is getting somewhat dated, a tried and true charger for sure. The 42 could be just a touch past daily driver streetable (waiting on final confirmation from a person who has used it extensively) even if i improved the header and added some to the cam on the exhaust side.

The charger for me APPEARS to be an S400 with .90 +/- turbine. Could light as early as 1800 and tosses about 100 lbs of air. It SOUNDS like it's in the ballpark, any input from you guys?

I'll keep that in mind thanks! What RPM range are you considering? Racing (2300-4500) or a combo? I am looking at 1800-4000 +/-.

Thanks for the support Sweet.

I made the decision and ordered... S-400 with a 90 and a 101 housing. Based on what i know/gathered the 101 can fall off the charger between shifts with the Ally and can be tough to drive all the time, so i got both housings. If i can't drive around the housing I'll put the 90 on it and tune from there.

Unlikely it won't be scary fast, if not I'll hose it.:cool2::D:D:D

I think i can make the date now... charger will be in house Thursday afternoon of this week. I'll do twins another time, Nathan spoke of securing additional manpower to meet his clients needs. At that point timing may not be such an issue for me.

Yea, Dan at PPE had everything i need on short notice. Called him earlier today and a couple hours later picked it all up. 2nd CP-3, down pipe, T-4 flange, gaskets, oil lines. And last but not least... PICTURES!:D:D:rofl:

That guy (Dan) is as helpful when i bought $10 parts as he is when i buy expensive parts. Heads are done, rods are ready, charger Thursday, machining middle of next week and pistons a couple weeks out.

I'll take some pict's in the next couple of days and load 'em up. I am so pumped... it ain't even funny:)
