If i understand the question, I think it's been done and is available for mass consumption. Pat and Kat sell 'em. It's a straight stainless bar IIRC.
I thought I read that it hurts the turning radius??
I attached a couple pickies, truck is coming along.
Need to get the trans up to Mike L, get the locker in, assemble the motor and drop it in, waiting on ONE part to start motor assembly. Tie some of the plumbing together and start working the bugs out. Prolly be rolling under it's own power in a month and de-bugging for a month or so after that.
I also attached a pict of the tie rods, somebody wanted a comparison.
Later
for a minute there i thought you rigged up 2 tie rods? you are just useing that as a comparison?
That's it im not reading this thread anymore!

I recieved the new oil pump from Curtis today. Very nice piece, nice machine work and fits perfect. LH thread, black anodized (good for a .10th:rofl and comes ready to bolt on. Curtis took his time and walked us through the installation, adjustable pressure and potential for oil squirter upgrades if I had stock pistons. It was pretty clear Curtis has been around the block and is very knowledgble.
It's a complete assembly. Flows 35% more oil, adjustable pressure at the front of the motor versus shimming the factory pump.
I'll post some pict's when i get home or Sunday.
If you wanna buy one contact dieselperformanceresearch.com or Dave Basham may have some soon as well.
If the hands in the pictures/manual look really LARGE... well you know what they say about guys with big hands....
Curtis is smart! where does he come from anyways
OT- The typo's in post #135 are pathetic. Sorry to anyone who gives a sh^t.
Very long day.
