As Rob said Josh we blew the same boot on both Max'd Out and White Out in Phoenix. White Out was first and we put the GM replacement on it. The replacement boot seemed a little shorter and was kind of a bitch to get on. That was friday night during T&T. When Max'd Out blew the same boot during the Prostreet semi's the next day we robbed the one off of White Out to use. Glad we had one.

Right now I'm leaning pretty heavily towards modifying my tube so I can use a straight boot. I'm not sure how difficult it will be, but I think it is the strongest option.

It's kind of hard to hear how loud it was from that video, Ken, but mine sounded pretty loud inside the cab. It happened at pretty much the same spot on the track too.

I did this also josh , I was temped to just use the banks tube and just modify the top for it to fit the S400 , but I wanted to get rid of that boot ,its expensive ans is a week link IMOP , all it takes is that boot poppingin a race and ya its an easy fix but you are still out of the event .

Josh it isn't hard to reroute the lower pipe outside of the fender well and go straight into the intercooler. I did this on mine and heated my inner fender well and molded it so it looks factory. When I get a chance maybe I can post some pictures.

You mean without modifying it? I'd like to see some pictures of what you did.

Those are M&H Nostalga 12.00/16's on Procomp 10 x 16 rims. Two of them are still brand new. They sent me one ford rim the first time so I only ran them on the back for about 3 passes.

Another thing I'm wondering is if the boosted air being as hot as it's going to get at this point along with the boot has a bend plays any factor in it ripping off? How hot is the air at this point? I've heard Nathan say maybe the 500 degree range?
