The rubber duck shit is beyond me. I don’t get it. My son would win one if he was first in his heat at swim competitions and some parents would put them on their dash for bragging rights. This was about 5 years ago. Now I see people everywhere with little rubber duckies on their dash and I know not everyone I see has kids who participate in travel swim (we all know each other haha). WTF is going on with rubber duckies? I’m lost…

Well harvest season is 8-10 weeks out and will be here next weekend here in Ohio.
uncle called said you're better at this than I am, got two semi loads left in the bin and bearing is shot in the unloading auger. AFAIK he hasn't touched this since he bought the place in '90 and it came with the property.

Someone stuck the grease zert facing where my finger is pointing with no access to it, definitely wasn't easily visible.. I'll fix that on the install.
Steel shaft, an aluminum pulley, and 34+ years or elements doesn't bode well lol
Bought new pulley because if he didn't guarantee the old one is getting destroyed 😂

If I can't press them off it will be either cut or liquified

Playing around with the EFILive scan tool trying to get the service regen started. Clicked the desired RPM button and the RPMs dropped down to about 250. And it kept running. Never had it do that before and still idled without stalling

I haven't had to do it on a Dmax but I did have to force it on a 2016 Dodge. Apparently it has to be a certain temp in order to force it with a scan tool.
IIRC, the ECT had to be at a specific Temp. like 175 or something like that. So I had to bring it up to like 1500 or 2000 Rpm to get the heat up in the cooling system.

That's what I was attempting to do by raising the RPMs. But instead of raising it would go down to 250 and stay there no matter the setting. V7.5 DVT works to raise RPM correctly but rain out of time and called it for the day. Might try again tomorrow. Or maybe take it for a drive and see if it does a regen on the road or gets enough heat in it to do a service regen.

Ive seen things like what Adam dealt with at the farm repair shop on my route. I feel so bad for those guys when someone brings in a broken manure spreader.....
The "four seasons of farming" -- planting, fertilizing, harvesting and fixing.
Pretty much..
We pressure wash planting and harvesting equipment and go through them and go through them.
Those battery powered grease guns are awesome when you have over 100 grease points, grease is cheap, but man do you get a forearm work out😂

Last thing you want is finding a burnt bearing after a fire🤦🏻‍♂️

Correct. Engine temp up to 178 or more, egt’s must be at a certain amount and like 5 other things too.

Long ago, Steve and I were playing around in the limo and he says “hey wanna see a lope tune that’s far closer to what those sled pullers have on their p pumps?” I was like “sure!” Dropped idle to 400rpm and sure as shit, truck loped like a built up p pump truck lol.

Nooooo we didn’t run the damn thing around like that. Even back then we knew it was gay

Oddly mine was running smooth. Very quiet too. Oil pressure was probably way to low to be safe for extended time
