Corn and beans are getting close to ready around here. Talked to one of my seed guys, he says yields are going to be very good this year.

That's good because corn prices are in the shitter last I looked

I'm going to assume that's sweet corn, but at that rate not expensive. Even around here I've seen some "Farmer markets" at a dollar an ear, especially this late in the summer and if it's still good sweet corn. Lack of rain probably playing a role in that

Price per bushel for regular field corn was around $3.65, with a local guy claiming his break even point this year being $3.50

Wife's 2015 Malibu hasnt needed a single thing since we've bought it other than oil changes and air filters. That streak ended when I had to change the front brakes today. Still.....9 years....
