Breathable polos and shorts. Slacks is straight poser unless you have a mosquito problem. I play public and private courses and I can't handle playing the same course all the time gotta change it up. Fix your divots people for the love of god!

Yeah, if i lived in N.M i would be wearing shorts too, i did in AZ anyways, but i live in WA now and today i wore Haggar slacks, cuz up here shorts are for posers before may and after september:rofl:

I've been playing for about 16 years... Played in high school, and played in college. For a long time I was pretty consistant in the low 70's these past few years however I've been to busy to practice so as one would guess my scores have shown.

Just sold my r7's so I think I may go ahead and regrip my new callaways. Winn classic wrap's or another set of golf pride's. I really like those grips. I have to say that I have been playing the new Nike crush golf balls and those things are crazy long for me. Avg drive for me is around 290 now.

I love it here in washington. It rains alot, sure i say, the air is also very clean and there is plant and animal life in abundance. The mountians are beautiful and the ocean is close, hell we even have a desert! Albeit diesel motorsport is still relatively unknown or far and few between and new, but its a great place to live and golf!

It is a wide open hole. It looks too easy from behind the green looking back at it. You dont see 3 pothole grass bunkers @ 235-250yrd, two sand traps gaurding the level side of the green, how bad the trees pinch off the left side, and the green is elevated and undulating, the pin was on the downhill slope today too(never fun) and its like 568 or so depending on tee box placement.

If I ever end up with a pile of burn money, I'll fly out for the day to play a couple rounds with you. :thumb:

What do you wear when golfing?
Public or private course i wear sport slacks and 3 button collared shirt. I tend to have a different set of clothes for private course play though.

Nike golf shorts/pants depending on weather and a bright colored golf shirt. Usually go with pink, yellow, blue or green. Recently switched to Adidas shoes and I find them more comfortable then the Nikes.

As for my equipment I have a Callaway Digital Camo bag, TaylorMade R11, Cobra 3W, Cobra FP08 irons w/ GW, Ping Answer V2 putter, Cleveland CG15 56º, Cleveland CG14 60º, and a chutter. Usually play Titleist balls.

I'm going to the range when I get chance. I cant take just looking at my clubs any longer.

Ok!
Lol, maybe i can make it out there to look at some beans and corn:hug:

Its pretty right now with the leaves changing but the corn and beans are always there. And the horseflies here will bite clean thru a nice golf shirt! That gets old!

Ok guys got to play Sandia resort/casinos GC last weekend and it was fun. Despite putting for eagle once and many missed birdie putts, my score isn't worth sharing lol. Great course though. First pic is a par 3 and second pic is my birdie putt which did not go in. Errr.

Wow! That looks awesome. I wasn't back into golfing when my wife and I got married but we honeymooned in Hawaii and I can tell you that the GC's there are breathtaking! She said when we make it back there she is gonna let me play some golf.

One great thing about the southwest is the Golf courses. AZ and NM especially. High altitude mountain courses covered in pines and pristine patches of green in the middle of vast deserts make for awesome scenery. But golf anywhere is good by me!:thumb:

MI, NC, now Hawaii
My dad always tired to get me to play when i was a kid and i would go out with my couisn growing up. never cared for the game because i wasnt any good and was to young to care that i had to pratice. it has been well over 9 yrs since i played last but with my father in law out visiting us in Hawaii the past 2 weeks i went out with him and played 2 rounds. was a fun time. wouldnt mind getting a set of clubs to start and pratice with so i can play with more of my family members, just dont know where to start. I will say the years of putt putt golf has paid off. i am decent at that at least and i am 50/50 for chipping. its that long game that kills me.
