It won't hurt to check, but I totally missed where it stopped at idle. That's when it would be most noticable too, so throw my idea in the trash

Ok guys... So I'm working on getting this thing tuned... I got rid of the dreadful 7.3 psd sound. Rp at idle was upwards of 14k. I lowered the psi on my lift pump and it dropped rp to 6k with a 4500 commanded. Still high but sounds normal.
This is where I'm at now.
Ran some logs from a boosted launch. Rp holds till ~3k rpm and drops from 21k with (21k commanded) down to 19k. At the end of the run, the truck commands 24.3k.
I did a bottle test. It failed even though it was shimmed.
Installed a ppe race valve and tested again. It passed.
Checked for codes... None.
Checked for kinks in the fuel lines... None are apparent.
Checked fpr connection... Looks good.
Pump is new and not a reman.
Any ideas?
Could definitely be a pump issue...
what kind of uS? what are you return rates? rail pressure didnt increase after the PPE race valve?
Crank up the rail pressure at idle. If it won't make max psi at idle it will never make it. If it doesn't hold you need to do a injector return rate test.

Rp increased from low 19k to high 19k-20.3k. Kinda fluctuates between at wot. When I let the throttle go, it spikes to 26k. But that's just bc the truck isnt asking for fuel at that point.
Forgive me... Not to efi live savvy. Not sure how to check uS and return rates. If you coach me through it, I'll let you know.
