Supposedly, Aisin made a lot of improvements and upgrades to the 2014+ AS69rc, compared to the older AS68rc that has been around since 2008 in the chassis-cabs.

I'd like to see them use the 68 but tune it the way we do in the aftermarket they would handle stock power fine even at 900 ft lbs imo mine has done fine with over 1k tq my parents trucks have done fine in the 900 range for 80k miles each my dad's tows very heavy to

I personally think they need to find a transmission they really like and stick with it. Just giving it updates along the line. Duramax/Allison has been out for what 15 years now? They had growing pains and aren't perfect but kept updating getting better and better.

I said this exact thing earlier in this thread. It wasn't recieved well.

Point is, the lb7 has enough tq to pull any load that is "safe" behind a 3/4 pickup truck.

Our lmls get HORRIBLE mileage. It's time to get the fuel economy up. I used 30 gallons of fuel pulling a 14,000lb boat 200 miles. 30 freaking gallons!

You have issues... Our lml is around and somtimes over 30k and the mileage is better than lb7 or lbz could ever dream of...

17 highway at 65mph.... Wife's 6.2 Yukon gets 16.9 in town....

Both of our LMLs get the same terrible mileage... But I still love the trucks.

Big Block, come hook your lml to my boat, I promise you, you won't make more than 200 miles before you have to refuel.

My 15 mileage wasn't bad at all when it was stock. I drove it that way for 12k miles, never a complaint but I didn't hand calc much. Just watched the DIC
