Congrats! That is a crazy amount of power. Hopefully you can figure out what was slipping (hopefully just tires) and have another go at it. Congrats again!

yes old number was 1709, drakes dyno as i said is about 140 horse tighter than ours so that engine was working for that number, any answers from anyone on what im going to do if i blew through that tranny:confused::confused::(

I haven't seen a trans blow on a dyno. Seen plenty of converter clutches let loose. Your dyno sheet will tell you what let loose. You will have an rpm spike or a hp dip.

Congrats Dimitri!

Mike, he mentioned he had an odd dip in hp on the last run at 3100pulse. Post 185.

I will be starting a new thread probably tomorrow with the videos, dyno graphs, and some photos.

I will also go into some detail about how the weekend went and what we did to the truck.

There is no correction factor . . . We were at sea level.

I have seen it before , that would be awesome if they were non corrected #'s , I wish every dyno event would just go non corrected and make things simple . Why didnt they count the 1729 on the on the results ?

"TPD Dyno Day Winners-
STREET STOCK- 576.1hp, Chad Eastlick's 2008 Ford
STREET MODIFIED- 700.8hp, Brett Lujan 1997 Dodge
SUPER STREET MODIFIED- 1218hp, Ron Allen 1992 Dodge
UNLIMITED- 1633.1hp, Dmitri Millard 2001 Duramax

Just because you are at sea level doesn't mean there was no correction factor.

Mike,

I have the dyno sheets off the computer with and overlay of all 3 nitrous runs that I will post up in a new thread tonight when we get to the hotel here in about half an hour. I would very much like to hear your input on what you think happened based on what you can see in the graphs.

Trent,

I stand 'corrected' regarding my earlier statement about there being no correction factor. Now that I think about it, I remember (out of curiosity) taking a look at what the correction factor was before we started tuning for fuel only on Friday night. The correction factor that I saw was hovering in the low 1.01X to 1.03X area which wouldn't equate to much in terms of uncorrected horsepower numbers.

The winning 1633 hp number that was posted by TPD was the superflow number off Drakes Dyno. The 1729 hp number was corrected dynojet number which only beats Dmitri's previous record by a few horsepower in the grand scheme of things.
