hey everyone, well we came we saw but the 2k mark still is out there, first 2 runs fuel only 1133 and 1139, first run on spray 1571 at 2800 pulse one big stage and direct port nos, second run same 2800 pulse 2 stages ran out of fuel as soon as the 2 stage hit, making 1726.6 i thought 2800 pulse would carry me to 2k, but i was wrong, turned it up to 3100 pulse for the 3rd run, truck only made 1487 everything was good on the log, full fuel, pulse and timing right on the money, the graph had a huge dip in it, climbed to almost 1500 fell to 1300 came back up to 1487, were not sure what let go but i fully believe the 2k mark is possible now after going for it, people said i blew the tires off there was rubber everywhere, i think the tranny let go, either way truck still runs strong and were going for it again after i go through the tranny, i had over 20 clutches holding the over drive gear i cant imagine them slipping but we for sure lost it somewhere. thanks everyone for following this thread and all your support and comments, it means alot to know that dd is the place to be:hug::hug:

thank you, i cant believe that engine held those last 2 runs back to back, i have full faith we were making everybit of 2k to blow through the tranny or tires on that last run.

should have dropped the pulse to 2600 if 2800 drained the rail...good power though, how is the spool up now?

Sorry you didn't get to see 2k, but congrats on the 1726, that's a new best isn't it? :)

yes old number was 1709, drakes dyno as i said is about 140 horse tighter than ours so that engine was working for that number, any answers from anyone on what im going to do if i blew through that tranny:confused::confused::(

rail never fell i just ran the injector out of fuel, rail held with 2800 , 24.5 with 3100 pulse, had plenty of fuel just lost it somewhere else, tranny tranny tranny lol were all in the duramax world always saying that haha:)
