Lift pump is good Dale holds pretty good pressure under WOT 4psi then once in 3rd gear it rebounds to almost 11psi

Nick I had to drop pulse down 250 on mine over what my original motor wanted. Doesn't make any since to me but it's going faster so that's what it get's. 116 you should be running 11.60's. Jeff

I understand every ones commments about dropping pulse width , and yes it might help but you guys forget that with a wicked diesel stroker pump and stock sticks a 3300 usec tune should be small potato's and should hold perfect rail and has in the past , pressure is bleeding off some where , and i have seen the log , it doesnt consist of what i have xseen before when the converter is not locking up , but the 1/8 mile is holding very poor rail , and the back half is holding much better once the truck hits 5th the log is text book perfect IMOP as fas as the shifts , RPM drop from gear to gear , non of the snow mobile sort of rpm graphs i have seen on trucks with lock up issue's , I still believe it is a simple fuel problem hurting the 1/8 mile times .

I've seen a couple of logs too, and I disagree.

IMO, 3300 and a wicked pump is too much if you plan on keeping this as a dailey driver, my vote is to drop the PW and see if it helps

Why don't you post the log for people to see. When ever somebody else needs help your the first to ask for a log and say nobody can help without it

theres nothing wrong with not agreeing , if i remember right the converter locked at around high 40's mph , i could see the rpm dip i didnt save the log to check back again , if you read my first post i said to take care of the rail pressure issue first , then diag the rest , i still belive that to be the best route .

I was disagreeing with there being a rail pressure problem. I was sent a log from when he still had the 4094 and log from the 475. From what I saw, it is holding rail pressure just as well now as it was then. I already told Nick what I think is wrong. If he chooses to pursue that, that is his choice.

I would rather be wrong and have Nicks truck run well than be right and have iot continue to have issue's , it doesnt matter to me other than the problem getting fixed. When i am referring to logs i was going off of memory , why so snappy Josh ?

I agree. I just want to see him get the 11 that I know his truck is capable of. I didn't mean to be snappy. Sorry if I came across that way. I did see the fuel pressure dropped off more at the higher RPM he was running, but if you compare the before and after logs at the same RPM, the rail pressures were almost identical.

i looked at the logs lastnight and from memory nicks truck held great rail before

ive held rail with a 3300 pw ith a stock cp3 so it makes me wonder if the wd is going bad???

what nick commands for shift and what he runs are different but it looks like the converter locks around 38 mph rpm does the drop

shift are around 42-4400 imo im thinking he would be better off lower rpm??

just a discussion please dont snap on me:D

Maybe this will show what I am talking about. When looking at the same RPM window, the rail pressure is basically the same. This is actually a window through 4th and 5th gear, but I chopped out the high RPM part of 4th gear from the 475 log. I think it is pretty common knowledge that CP3s don't hold rail pressure as well when RPM goes up. My thinking is the high RPM is causing a lot of Nick's problems.

I have been going over lots of logs... lately since i have been shifting at such a high RPM my rail psi has gone to shit. I found my log from a 2800pw tune that shifted at 3500 RPM rail pressure was almost 26,4xx all the way through the entire run. Maybe it is time for injectors and lower pw?
