We are working on a whole new website, we hate this one - when I log in to edit the site it shows me the rest of what I wrote - I got it fixed now.

Actually Justin, LB7 Diesel is right - my injectors are Industrial Injection 90hp injectors.

I have gone 12.36, skintback has gone 12.39, and Chris has gone 12.42. As Winston said I am limited by the same fuel pump as Chris and it is taking me a while to slowly tweak mine faster, without being able to add any more fuel. I've already talked about our weight reduction, not sure what skintback does. And Chris just said he races in the steel toe boots he is sitting here in;)

Yeah my schedule is crazy busy, but I definitely want to get everything installed before than. I talked to Reece a week or so ago, and we may install them in Minden.

Talked to Justin (DirtyMax) today and he is cool with testing it back to back against the tune that he went 12.60 on. He sent me his stock tune already and he'll have the tune in time to go to the track one day this weekend and test it out.

So let me get this straight, Dustin has a LLY with 90 over's, 70mm cheetah, and a LBZ cp that run's 12.36's. Mr surf-n-turf has a stock LLY running 12'39's. And Doc holliday has a stock LBZ running 12.39's. Were all these trucks stripped down with just a 5 gallon bucket for a driver's seat? Was the bed left on the truck? And were you wearing flip flops? Just wondering why Dustin has so much more done to the truck with no result's to show for them:confused:
Different trucks..different results. Doc's truck seems to be an overachiever, which is a good thing! :D Skintbacks truck kicks some serious ass, too.

Dustin didnt have his truck for very long before all the mods he has were done. so that may be one reason why you are seeing close number with him and Chris. and you can only push a stock motor so hard when thats all you have to drive.
Ah cmon....you can push a DD hard and still drive it. LOL Ya just dont drive around every day with that tune in.... ~500rwhp in the snow isnt too smart anyway. Donuts are very easy to do..not good.

I'm anxious to see this too. Ever since we had the Banks infomercial that said their tuner beat the PPE, Edge, etc and we all wanted to set up our own unbiased test. Any other tuners want a piece of the action on the same truck?? PPE, Duramaxtuner, Moonshine, McRat....

There should also be no data logging of any tunes tested. We all know what can happen.

Good idea on running different tunes on same truck, same day, same track.

Datalogging.....oy vey.

Whats wrong with driving around with the hot tune every day? I do it b/c of the lack of the DSP for LBZ's and I like having all the power on tap. Plus my overachiever likes it. :D

I never said anything was wrong with it, I dont see the point of keeping the big tune in all the time. Mine goes back to near-stock when not racing. Its not like I go looking for street races any more...

Henry, your right foot is so darn heavy, I'm surprised you get a set of rear tires to last a year! LOL (also, I wasnt at the 1st SitS GTG...it must've been last years....LOL)

You guys all got DSP jealousy!:p I run good hot steet tune with a big tune always on tap.

My brother's LMM runs the same tune as Tommy all the time. No reason not to. Very smooth and kinda fast I guess too.;)

His truck obviously likes it. I converted the LLY economy tune that I gave Justin (ChevyDieselLLY) that he gets 25+ hand calc mph highway into an LBZ tune and it still won't get the mileage of Chris's race tune:(.

And snow + power = fun in my book. Too bad we don't get snow here in NC like I'm used to though.

Shoot Chris I'll trade you trucks - I never use the DSP anyway, you can have it. I beat my DD daily on the race tune - that's one reason I'm glad I'm limited on fuel right now, otherwise I'd really be on borrowed time.

Back on topic though - I sent Justin (DirtyMax) the tune for him to test out this weekend.

So are you guys comparing this to what your DA LBZ truck runs or putting different tunes on Justin's truck and comparing??

From what Dustin was saying Justin will run different tunes on the same day and see how they all compare. Same truck, different tunes, should be a pretty good example.
